More like, it added an unnecessary inconvenience to the game, and is being removed.
It is not hard to discriminate against archetypes. I think of a challenge as doing something with the team that you have, instead of putting together a perfect team and steamrolling it.
More luck than skill, IMO.
Well, skill at arranging who you are lucky enough to have, at any rate.
Furthermore, this build offers implications that you have not considered, I think. You have even more criteria to be discriminate in your team selection. You can say you'd rather have the tank that is high enough level to have taunt, for example.
The people that want to have PUGs now have more options, and the others have the same options as before. Nothing of value was lost. -
I think the implication of Positron's carefully worded statement (using the word "current") is that they are possibly changing that.

you can get a rough idea by using oroborous. Start taking flashback misions in reverse order, and check which powers disappear. Quit flashback, repeat.

Quick question on that; with things like DM/DA/etc dark powersets, are the 'dark' portions of the powers going to be re-colorable, or is it changes/selections to the available animations?
As far as I know, only Martial arts and Super Strength have complete alternate animations that you can choose from, and the secondary effects from those can be re colored, as well. -
I took my blaster from 48 to 50, and Amazingpurplefatman from 34 to 38.

All you said was that you'd be instituting a server queue for when servers are full. That doesn't tell us why you chose to lock us out of character creation if we're not in beta. An actual explanation would be greatly appreciated, as like I said before, anyone at comic-con, COX player or no, could just waltz up to your booth and try it out. Everyone who's been around the forums has seen the videos of the color customization and alternate animations so it's not like you're hiding anything from us and frankly it's unfair. I want to see what a particular power would look like when colored to match my character, and see what sort of options we'll have available, but because I couldn't drop everything and fly out to San Diego for comic-con I'm apparently not special enough?
I'll say again, poor play, and on top of that no explanation.
