  1. hahahahaha allow me to introduce myself! My toon Lagniappe Lass!
  2. I am a rock star?
No notice how the finger tips are removed from the thumb and first two fingers? This is my tablet glove. It is a lint free disposable negative handling glove (Hubby scores them for me from work after he uses a pair he brings it home for me instead of disposing it) I apply some fray check to prevent them from fraying when I cut the tips from my main fingers I need when drawing, leaving ring and pinky cause they are usually full contact with the tablet.
It makes it easier to use, reduces finger oils that can mess up the surface and when my hand sweats due to heat of tablet I'm not getting my hand stuck on the tablet surface. Some people sell special tablet gloves for $15 a glove but as long as you can find a lint free glove you do not need to waste that money. I only used them every now and then when I got the cintiq I literally do not touch it without my glove on. And I wash the glove frequently. I have two prepared and un cut spares all over so I always have them on hand.

Once I touched the cintiq without the glove on
    and I screamed.
    I am a goober...
  3. I promise it was 100% legit, do I look organized enough to rig it?
  4. Ok so just so you guys can see no rigging took place see who magic king cake baby picked here:

  5. ok so I count 4 I need one more
  6. yeah that is a fantastic pencil brush you have there
  7. It's a paper mache egg, it's rather large, like ostritch egg size
I have another but I dunno what I'm gonn put on it
It's for a show of local Art teachers, we are all decorating eggs
  8. Time for some digital king cake action! It is Mardi Gras and traditional when eating King Cake the person who find the baby has to bring the next cake or host the next party, for our digital king cake I am going to have 5 people post references and I shall draw a name from a cup to determine who gets the digital baby of a piece of art!

  9. I know this isn't CoX related but I just finished it and have been working on it for a while

  10. it does, above the pen is the little black arrow called the path select tool, you want to change it to the direct select, just like in illustrator, just click and hold down until it pops out the option, or click the tiny arrow. but it is still limited
  11. Vectors in Photoshop are like pure basic nothing...if you want real vector action you need to be in Illustrator or a free equivalent like Inkscape
And yeah they take a while to get used to but they do have perks. Namely the infinite scaling.
  12. you always like to correct me don't you :P
  13. OK All three are up AND I think I found a way to lower upload time!
Next tut will be brush making!!!
    For now here is
Digital inking #1 Digital Inking #2 and Digital Inking #3
  14. hmm maybe I should make more vague references to it then
  15. little comic about what I described in CR's thread
  16. Eh I'm a teacher I have a need to share. I always say what's the point of having knowledge if you don't share it!

Spent the passed few days working on my SG's monthly newsletter so I will make the tuts on Wednesday

  17. Mecha Stripe whichever number he is!
  18. ok I found this:http://paullasaine.blogspot.com/2008...cil-brush.html

But didn't do it. I mean I just started playing with brushes and got something I like and I will explain how I did that in a tut but it will be more of a tut on how to make your own brushes. It's up to you to get the kind of brush you want.
  19. The brush I use for "pencils" doesn't really replicate real pencils but I could try to make one that does. If Pirate Cashoo has photoshop and doesn't mind sharing she could save the brush as an abr file and then anyone with photoshop equivalent to hers can use it.

I will try tonight if I can figure it out I will put something up. I know there is a brush pack out there because Dagger Point had been doing sketch commissions with a new set he'd bought
