QR - They're showing a preview of I16 here at Comic Con. Mainly just showing power customization. It looks pretty cool so far, the powers allow for some fun color tinting but they are generally limited to pallets that make sense. Thankfully this means that you cannot have a yellow tinted Ice Storm power.

And for my birthday I am here at ComicCon! Where I will probably end up buying a bunch more commissions and scetches of my characters from all the great artists here.

No idea why they decided to put it in the food section though.

And now...back to trying to figure out how to get Formula X to incorporate Variable Y without breaking in hideous, horrible, awful ways.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's easy, just use Procedure Z. -

since its 5g per month with a fee per bit after I am a "war driver" now. like right now... :-

"5g per month"?
Either you meant $5 and you've been playing too much WoW.
or you meant $5,000 and you have a REALLY bad provider. :P -

My iPod has ample computing power to take us back to the moon. I would be willing to donate it to NASA.

Comparing the iPhone 3GS to the Desktop tower PC that I was using back in college little over 10 years ago:
The iPhone has way more storage space: 32GB vs. ~1GB
The iPhone has a much faster processor: 600Mhz vs. 200Mhz
The iPhone has more RAM: 256MB vs 32MB
The iPhone has a better graphics card with the PowerVR SGX GPU.
The iPhone has a much better camera.
My old PC didn't even HAVE any form of wifi, and the 10mbs ethernet connection that wasn't even as fast as the speeds easily attained through wifi on an iPhone. Hell even the speeds over the 3G network are in that range. That's only if you were lucky enough to have any form of broadband back then. Most people still used 56k modems.
The jump in technology today isn't even in the same ballpark to what we were seeing just in the previous decade. -
You know it occurs to me that you probably could have connected to a local wifi connection at the theater. If the theater themselves didn't have one there's likely another one nearby you could steal bandwidth from.
Not that I'm condoning stealing internet bandwidth, it's just something to think about. Personally I'd just use my iPhone to play games on in that situation, or post on the CoH forums, ... like I'm doing now. -

Great piece. Dramatic and downright hot. There's a couple of smallish things that bug my eyes (right hand and the position of the katana) but still a great piece. Congrats.

Ah yes the tang is not aligned.

Also her eyes are technically the wrong color, but I just chalk all that up to artistic expression. Like the result of some primal reflection. Nothing that really bothers me. -
-
And It's Awesome!
I think his work is just great.
It's funny to note how artists just love to draw Caios with a katana all the time. Even though she's Dark Melee.
Not that I'm complaining, the sword really fits the character well I think. -

Seriously I don't quite understand the ipod touch o.o; I'm looking at wiki here, can I connect to the NET from it? o.@
[/ QUOTE ]
The Touch is basically just an iPhone without the phone parts in it. It works much like the iphone in principle by the fact that you can use the integrated wifi connection to connect to a wireless network. So in that sense it works a bit more like a very tiny laptop. Yes you can connect to the Net with it, but only if you're on a wireless network. Pretty much any app made for the iphone will work on the Touch but any online features require you to connect to a wifi network first. -

Guess it urks you to know that over 90% of my posts now are done via iPhone. I love it!

I hate you. <3

You think you've got it rough? I work for at&t (the SOLE CARRIER for the iPhone) and nearly ALL of my coworkers have them.
They are pretty spiffy, just can't afford one right now, not even at employee discount.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's like that where I work too...
It's kinda funny, I was walking around Hollywood last night. I was there for business related reasons so I had my iPhone out so I could check my e-mail, look through some numbers, etc., etc.
All around me were thousands of people taking full advantage of the Hollywood nightlife. And every single time one of them took out their phone to check for messages, call a friend, or check directions ... you guessed it, they were all iPhones, every last one.
Personally I was more amused by the realization that I wasn't even remotely surprised by this fact.
But here's a fun little fact to consider; the basic AT&T voice plan that comes with a new iPhone includes unlimited mobile to mobile calling for all AT&T customers, which conveniently includes everyone else with an iPhone. That's a lot of people. -

A quick look through this list and the list of attending celebrities at Comic Con shows that there is a great deal of overlap.
But honestly, who cares? I'm not interested in meeting celebrities, I'm interested in meeting my fellow virtue brethren. -
The time for Comic Con is nearly here! I know more then some of you will be attending, so where do we meet up? That's right...
Virtue Meet up at Comic Con!
I know there is a City of Heroes panel happening on Saturday but we should try for some get together before then.
What are your Comic Con plans? -
Some interesting new details popped up on the going rogue site with the latest character profiles coming with that expansion. Specifically a number of details regarding Desdemona and Maelstrom.
For their power sets it lists Desdemona as a Mastermind with Demon Summoning, and Maelstrom as a Blaster with Dual Pistols.

None of this is any great surprise but it is an interesting bit of confirmation. -

*shamelessly waving my iPhone around*
Did you check out Posi's latest tweet? Apparently he might have something to share tomorrow. Tomorrow just happens to be the 16th.
Interesting no? -
I plan to go as well. I have the luxury of having family in San Diego so I get to kill two birds with one stone (technically three since it's also my birthday), and I don't have to worry about getting a hotel.
I plan on seeing what sort of artwork I can get out of everyone while I'm down there.
P.S. you can still buy tickets on e-bay, and I'm not talking about scalpers (though there's that too) The actual Comic Con organizers are selling any leftover / refunded tickets they might scrounge up on e-bay. They sell out super fast though but they're on twitter to let people know as soon as they make tickets available. -

hehe, This is why I love my new iPhone too! -
As I recall, there is an SG recruitment fair going on this Saturday that you might want to check out. Should be a couple of options there. I believe Shadowwings is running it.
Other then that the Guardian Angles are still active and looking for quality members. -

Though if anyone would like to help with that I would be most appreciative. -

Actually my request was to remove the image of DB from July , Nothing personal but I paid for my images not Rowr and I have no reason to want to see things I purchased in the Scoop .
I see no reason you can't just slap another image in july for the purposes of the scoop but it won't be the image I paid for .
[/ QUOTE ]
I definately understand and agree with your opinion here. In so far as it's your choice in the end. And I think everyone should respect your decision on this matter. Honestly I think the July pic with DB on it is probably one of my favorites. I'm personally happy that you've all choosen to share this wonderful calendar with us all.
That being said, if you need anyone to stand in for July, I totally volunteer Caios for it!
( after all, it's my birthday is this month too, so it's fitting ) -
That looks awesome!
I feel bad I missed out on all the fun. -
Caios vs. Ghost Widow
I've been working on some writing recently and came up with this really cool scene that I thought would make for a great commission. I'm not sure if the story will ever get done, but the art that came out of it turned out great!
Enjoy. -
'Cause yes, She's just that awsome.
Warblade does some truly gorgeous artwork. Check it out! Just try not to be impressed -
