Sub-Chapter 1: A Past Remembered


She continued walking and walking with a gleam in her eye she missed that satisfaction of blood on her razor sharp claws and the Anger, Hatred, then fear in her enemies eyes. As a young girl 13-17 she was a member of what some would say a "Super Group" called "The Iron Fist" and all the way through her teen years she was a super hero fighting crime and putting baddies in jail, and maybe killing a few. But on her 17th birthday that all changed.


On that day leaving home to continue her crime fighting. She was on patrol and had already stuck a couple Hellions and a few Skulls but nothing big. Then she came upon some Lost and which she had hardly even seen. So she went after them and she fought and fought and fought some more. Until one remained 1 Headman Gunner. She ran up toward him and he shot 1 blast striking her she got up mad and ran after him with a hate in her eye. She sprinted toward him and took out her talons and without paying attention to anything but her target claws out she struck hard and cut him in two but... NO! something was wrong an Rector was watching out for his headman and altered the vision of his heaman with that of a middle-aged woman. And now she instead of that Headman was dead. The brain affect wore off and she finnaly realized she struck the wrong target she was furious and ran up on the headman and ripped his eyes from his socket and sliced his head from his shoulders. The Rector escaped. And yes that woman was Jacob's mother.

Chapter 2: Oh No!


Last night's drama forgotten they went on with their day to day lives only with a baby. They both grew very fond of Alex and no more accidents have yet occurred. About a week later Ann went to go to the store and left Alex in Jake's care while she left. Returning in 30 minitues she returned to find the house soundless and with holes, shots, and split in half things all over the house. Now she was worried she ran all over the house hoping Jake hadn't seen this but knowing that he had to have. She ran and ran and searched and searched but could not find them. Finnaly she checked outside and where she hoped they would not be they were. Jake's tool center with hammers,screwdrivers, and chainsaws. She ran into it to find Jake with his knife at little baby Alex's throat.


"Look at the monster we created! " He screamed looking at Alex crying and screaming. " He deserves to die! " He boomed once more. "Why Jake?" she said half crying half mad as hell. "Why does a 2 day old baby deserve to Die HUH! WHY?!?." She Screamed. " Take that knife from his neck NOW!" Ann commanded. " Or i swear i shall kill you! " " How Ann? Why? With your strength.. Ha! you are a woman! And you would TRY to kill me for ridding the world of a little demon! " At that he began to drive the knife into Alex. Then quickly and silently Ann sliced him into 2 with her claws. Her power as a mutant was she can transform into a Tiger/Woman with claws and all. She changed back to herself and picked up baby Alex took him inside grabbed a can of gasoline and poured it all over the shed. She took out a match and threw upon it a match. " Good Ridiance.... *******."

Well i am hoping for feedback on chapter 1... Positive or Negative i need helpful Critisism .

Chapter 1: A Baby is Born


Young couple Ann and Jake were at a hospital in Paragon City where they were about to be parents. Jake sitting in the waiting room while Ann was in labor was nervous as he could be wondering: Will it be a boy or a girl, I hope the baby likes me, and many many many other thoughts entered his mind. However, One he could not get over... Would He Be Normal. You see Jake has never liked people that were "different" infact he despised them! Mainly for his mother died in the crossfire between heroes and the Lost. He never knew his father. He grew up alright but he still had hatred in his heart one that would never ever wear thin.


A nurse interupted his thoughts by tapping him on the shoulder. He looked looked up at her. " Would you like to see your baby?" She asked smiling. He jumped up and went to the veiwing window. " Is it a he or a she? " he asked the nurse with a happy grin upon his face. " Its a baby boy. " She responded. " You will be able to leave with your son and your wife in an a hour ok? " Jake nodded and sat back down. After an hour past Ann walked out with their new son in her hands. They left together in very happy but very tired moods. " What are we going to name him?" Ann asked. " How about Alex?" Jake suggested. " Yes That Sounds Good. " She looked down at baby Alex " You like that name? " She asked in a loving voice as they continued home.


Once at home they tucked little Alex in his crib and went to bed. But Ann getting up at 1:00 AM in the morning got up to check on the baby. Finishing up she left the room but slept on a couch in the living room just outside Alex's room. At 4:00 she heard a load crash coming outside of Alex's room. She ran in and looked about but all she could see was Alex awake crying and a small hole in the wall. But Alex's fingers we glowing! Her worst nightmare came true right there. Alex was a Mutant! Jake would flip out if he saw anything or heard anything about this! She herself is a mutant although she knows Jake hates them she married him anyway but never told him for she could control her abbilities. However, A baby can't! She didn't know what she would do but one thing was for sure... She couldn't let Jake know.

Jake walked into the room yawning. " What the? " he boomed as he saw the hole in the wall. ( Alex's finger long since has returned to its orignal state. ) Ann began to ramble and thought of an excuse. " Uh i guess it was those damned Skulls or a clumbsy cop missed a shot... " She lied. Hoping for the best even though she knew something life changing will be happening soon. Very Soon.

I would have to say GREAT work. Very dark. Very Exciting. Only wish it was longer .
