Quote:Can't buy that Shaw had much a clue as to what Eric could really do given the fact that for some reason he put Eric through that while just a thin pane of glass away from a room stocked full of knives and cleavers...He doesn't have any real control over his powers at that point. The guards only die because they happen to be wearing metal helmets. I'm assuming that Shaw, having a basic understanding of what Eric's powers were was smart enough not wear too much in the way of metal.

I am not even going to mention Skittles....

Thanks all
Draggynn - Art isn't an essential??
Airhead - Addict schmadict, I could quit anytime!
VexXxa - Don't worry, you're a hottie no matter what color you turn! -
The bat costume rocks...
And as for throwing money at you, I do have a big jug of pennies I have been saving for a special occasion. Would you prefer I throw them one at a time or all at once??? -
Turnaround/Model Sheets done by EuROPA777.
I posted a few of these previously but here are the rest... I really love the job he did with these and cannot reccommend him enough to anyone looking to have a model sheet done...
And here's a few villains I made for future arts against my heroes...
I also recently got a solo piece of one of the villains, Cold Flake, which I think came out really, really wellThis is courtesy of RamArtwork from DeviantArt.

was great having you along... Always nice to have someone who dies almost as often as I do
-
Cric is great... And I love the art he did for you.
As for the character sheets, and yje second in particular - Just because something is cliche doesn't mean it's not fun! -
Ack, never posted my screeny from last week... And since I rather liked it, I will now!
Anyhow... Caemgen is all steampunked up and ready to go for this week! -
Woah there cowboy! Only one entry per person!!
Pick one of the two or I will consider the first the official entry... And that would go for anyone giving mor ethan one entry per month.
And by the way, for those too lazy to look back to the previous page:
-
Cap-I - Ok, I forwarded the newest references to Jazz and if he needs better I'm sure he'll let me know. I hadn't noticed the zoom thingy at first... But ya, in that first series it definitely looked like the blue was costume intended. *shrug*
As for your entry this month... Sorry, but as in the rules on first page, winners are ineligible the next 3 months. -
Are you talking what do you need from screenshots or are you talking about having a reference sheet done as in drawn?
If you are talking screenshots, I think you've pretty much done what you can. You could throw in an action pose or two (if you like how they look in game) to give the artist a feel of the type of attacks or such but there is only so perfect you can get with screenshots...
If you are talking about having one drawn - The two main things you need is a clear understanding in your own head of how the character should look and an artist who is willing to take the time to get it right.
The rest is just gravy - extra poses, headshots, weapons close up, etc etc etc are all gravy. Not that they can't be helpful, but the number one thing you need is one clear shot done by an artist who is willing to work with you, revise when neccessary, and get everything shown done correctly.
Ok, two shots are probably the minimum so you can show frnt and back, but after that it's all gravy...
If you are talking getting it drawn, I would humbly suggest you check out EuROPA - He's done a bunch for me which I think turned out awesome, and he's reasonably priced. His only downside is he's a B&W guy so you have to go elsewhere to have it colored, if you so desired. -
Wasn't the first costume blue and black?
Whichever you wish to go with is fine, just let me know... And still, better lit would probably be more helpful to the artist so he can see the details, since I assume the details are important -
First, to catch up with some stuff I kind of missed in this thread while really only looking for entries...
About as annoyed as I would be if he was hitting on me
I'm sure somewhere she is
Quote:Jazzcarmona's Fenian and Gadgetboy looks fantastic! I hadn't imagined Fenian to be so pallid, I trust she's not related to Airhead. Must be something Gadgy said.
And with that out of the way...
May's winner is: Captain_Iron
Were come really great ideas but this one just kind of spoke to me...
Captain_Iron - If possible, could you take a couple more reference shots during daylight? I'm not sure but the artist may have a little bit of a hard time making out the details of the costume... Also, mind if I change the set up just a tad? I'm thinking the person she froze should be a little kid and she's standing there licking the ice cream cone she stole from him.
June's Theme: Fight!
Location: Faultline
And I would really like to stress that this should be two characters... And unfortunately extras such as robots, zombies, ect will generally be considered characters. -
That is majorly, majorly awesome!
Like... majorly!! -
Going clockwise from top left: Ferreter, Fenian, Velvet Allure, Silver Kimber and of course Neko...
Airhead is, of course, dead center doing a cameo via the shades. Hey, someone had to buy drinks! -
May contest closed. Winner will be announced sometime tomorrow, as will June's theme.
-
Rhardo is always a fantastic choice... And this just proves it.
-
I love all those pieces... But as I said on DA - I love the Agent canada piece... Not only is it great art but it also tells a great little story as well! Great snag on that one...
And for those wondering, I believe the artist of that one can be found here --> http://agentcanada.deviantart.com/ -
