  1. So I started playing tonight, binding my new abilities as I went along. Everything was going fine until I tried to bind my two newest abilities. The bindings worked until I zoned, then I had to reset them. I saved them to my default keybinds text file and they're still there, but I still have to rebind them every time I zone or log in. I think it has something to do with the keys I was using. I was trying to bind the 0 and 1 keys to slots other than their default slots, but I think the fact that they have default slots is what makes them reset. Is there any fix to this other than using different keys? Thanks

SS/SD/Soul Brute. You have footstomp on a fast recharge, Shield Charge up every mob or so, and Dark Obliteration. Under the effects of high fury, Rage, and Fulcrum shift you can knock out an entire spawn in your opening volley. Run in to get a good buff from Against All Odds, Shield Charge, foot stop, DO. Minions are guaranteed dead, LTs are probably dead depending on buffs/levels, and the bosses are way down on health and just begging for a KO blow.

I don't think any corr can do that as fast with as much safety.

But if you're looking for an AoE king corr, look no further than Fire/Storm. Put a -res debuff proc in Freezing Rain. Open every spawn with freezing rain, followed by Rain of Fire, mop up with fireball and fire breath.

How do you put a proc in an ability you have? That didn't exist when I played. I played for about the first 6 months after release. Freezing rain used to scatter the mobs, which hampered AE, did this change?

Fire/Traps is solid. Trap's takes some getting used to though if you've never given it a go before. An important note is that Poison Trap got changed a little while back and isn't as effective at holding compared to it's previous version. Depending on when you left and came back though you might not even notice.

Thanks for the reply, I don't think poison trap even existed when I played, so I wouldn't worry about noticing a change. You say it's solid, but would something else be better in your opinion? That guide is good, but he doesn't seem to like caltrops. From what I remember caltrops were great for holding mobs in place for damage, has that changed? Thanks for all the help guys.
  3. I was looking at Fire/Traps, traps seems to have some nice utility. How do you think that would work? Thanks for the info. so far.
  4. I'm playing again after a long break and it seems like AE damage is still the way to go for groups. I want to make a villain character with the best AE damage possible. Would the corruptor be the archetype for me? Thanks in advance for any info. given.
