The badges in Bloody Bay are a lot harder to get by the way. There's always some hero that's waiting to get you, LOL. But per vidiotmaps, all the badges are where they were on Beta.
They are as follows:
Hungry: -1193, 0, -742 It's right near Comet J. It's guarded by some CoT Mages most of the time. Best way is to just fly, or SS right by it. That way the Mages don't lock ya down and ruin your day.
Ghoulish: 91, 65, 360. This one is in an open, long Mouselium. Kinda like an archway along the path.
Crooked Politician: 2264, 137, -832. On top of the building. Almost due riht of Metor Char.
Imploding: 1883, 130, 1338. Up and a lil right of Meteor Teen.
That's all for now enjoy -

Ya i saw some of those recipes. Looks interesting I must say. But still to have the prestige to buy the item you've just crafted is obsurd in my mind. SG's and VG's could save a lot of prestige if we could just craft it on our own without paying for it. IMO.

Is there... No.
WHERE is the growing list of recipeis for stuff?

The recipes are there. You just have to click the arrow at the bottom tio see the ingredients. I think that's what you were asking for. If not, then I haven't seen any updated recipes, because there are a lot of them out there already. -

Alright this will be one of the stupidest questions asked yet...I've been away from the game awhile, how do I locate the reference points? If a badge is at -1223 etc, how do I get to that waypoint? Apologies for the idiocy, and many thanks for the big list of badges.

This has a pretty easy answergo to www.vidiotmaps.com. They have the new CoH/CoV badges for all the zones. So far they are 99.9% right. Except a Plaque that's in Port Oakes I believe by the ship, that I never found. That should help ya with the badge hunting problem. Just search around in there. You'll find interactive maps that will tell you what the badge is and the coordinates of it's location. I have fly so it's pretty easy to steer clear of the baddies till the time comes to actually get the badge.
As for the Hunting badge post; Yes there are hunting badges in CoV. A lot of them deal with VG badges and what not. I also have 2 missions badges, and have done a few arcs. Seer marino's has been the best readingwise so far. The PvP Zone badges are a bit toughter to get since yo0u have a bazillion heroes flying around Bloody Bay. But I did manage to get all of the ones in BB. I haven't gone to Sirens or the other PvP zone yet. But I'll keep ya informed. -

don't know if this has been mentioned. Had a friend of mine jump in with a lvl 17 villain and kill a +1 minion. I hopped in with a lvl 49 hero and popped a +1 minion. Lvl 17 earned 10 prestige my lvl 49 earned 12 prestige. If it is a 20% increase in prestige across the board for lvl 35 and above characters that is at least something. I'm curious how mission endings will scale regarding prestige. Do we still get 250 to 300 prestige at the end of each mish? haven't tested that yet. I did some VERY rough calculations and it seems like a character leveled from 1 to 50 in SG mode would only earn about a million prestige (and I think I'm being kind). By my figures to have a beginers base range of functionality going in a conservative base (Transporters, Control , Power and rooms) you are look at 3 mil prestige... wow... I'm hoping crafting will help produce some placeable essentials but I'm not holding my breath.
I would love to see some real numbers on that, not that the post 40 game is even up and running for vills... somone get to 50 already running SG mode the whole time and get me some numbers already!

Here's the thing with crafting stuff. It works like this:
1. You take the salvage you have and make the basic components on your Basice Tech/Arcane Table. Some things you can make out of it. I made some type of pylon, but it all appears to be the same thing. Or same sets of things.
2. You The go to your Intermediate Tables and craft those parts and combine them to make better equipment.
3. Finally you take the stuff that you've crafted from the Intermediate Table to improve with the last table. Here's the kicker... You have to have the prestige to buy/create the iten! Personally, I think that's crap for one reason. If your making it out of stuff you've found, and collected and crafted together. The why charge us prestige for something we made??!?!?!?!? There's no middle man. We kill the Enemies, we get their salvage, and we craft our own stuff together. So why charge us prestige for it?!?!?! That makes no sense to me, what so ever!
As for the 20% difference in Villains to heroes; that's a crock. Why should the heroes get that extra percentage? There have to be at least 7000 people * rough guess* or more with level 50's, that have gobs of cash to donate to SG's. Why give them the bonus? Let's be real and make this an even playing field. That's all I want is a little equality in the game since we stress it so much. Anyopne else agree with that? Give me your thoughts. -
Here's my thing, CoV SG's are not even scraping by to get items for their VG bases. I'm a VG leader of one of the largest VG's on Triumph, about 53 people. Which i think it pretty large considering. We're barely making any prestige as it is. I honestly don't see any of the VG's being able to raid or be raided for at least 6 months! Plus the prestige we were earning from the beginning didn't match according to what our Villains have aquired. We don't have the advantage of having a slew of lvl 50's earning our VG's prestige like heroes do. Not to mention those people that have over say 150 million Influence donating to the Hero SG's. The Villains are at a destinct disadvantage. Here's my idea: 1. increase the amount of prestige earned across the board. For heroes and Villains alike. If you just did it for Villains, the heroes would be in an uproar, so make it an even playing field. That would in turn help Villains out more. Granted, Heroes will get more Prestige and will have bigger bases, but at least the VG's will have more prestige to build bigger and better bases as well. I think the would at least bring things into a better prospective, not necessarily even it out. 2. The only way it would even out is if the VG's earned more then Heroes, and we all know that isn't going to happen .

He will be back. Just taking time off to get his creative juices going again. You figure he's been writing these almost everyday for the last 6 months or more. I think he's earned a break in action

Voyager is on vacation for a while. So there won't be anymore 150 meter additions until he returns. We'll let you guys know when he's back. Thanks for your patience

Good postman! I had no idea how to slot INV after I5 hit. I have an INV/Mace tanker *insert laugh here* This thread is very helpful. Thanx a bunch for the info!

I think this would be a great idea, and I hope the Devs read this. This is from our SG forums. I think it's a spectacular idea!!!!
This is going to be long...but good, so treat yourself if you have time >
I guess this is technically spoilers for anyone that hasn't reached the end game, so if you like surprises I guess you should turn back now...
So I was thinking today: this game is meant to be open-ended. Right now what we call the "end game" is really just the top level you can get. Even then, a lot of people who have reached level 50 haven't reached the end game as far as I'm concerned because they were PLed like mofos and didn't experience the content that makes this a "game" and not a screen saver...
Anyway, back to the main topic. The two top villains in this game, I guess you would call them "end bosses" in another game, are Hamidon and Tyrant IMO. Hamidon is nearly impossible to beat and he really represents more of a monster than a villain, like Moleman's monster tearing out of the ground on the cover of Fantastic Four #1. Tyrant is a really cool idea, especially since Statesman isn't in the game while all the rest of the Praetorians we've kind of seen. But he's super easy to beat, teleports out at the end of the fight (very very comic book-y, thumbs up) and a lot of people I know have beaten him 10-12 times and junk.
I love fighting AVs. It's probably my favorite part of the game (next to trials and TFs). But a lot of the AV encounters are kind of vanilla and leave something to be desired. So here's a few ideas I came up with that I think are do-able and would really add to the comic book experience of the game.
1) Archvillains who are actually a players archenemy. Make a contact for each AT that gives them missions where they try to foil the plots of a specific new villain that is tailored (sort of) to the player. This could be as simple or as complicated to as the devs want. There could be one AV for each AT, one AV for each primary or one AV for each Primary/Secondary combo. We're talking anywhere from 5 to 100 and some odd villains here. They could make it even better if they had several different contacts throughout your career that each turn you on to the plots of your AE. "So and so is up to it again, Chromium Man, and we need you to stop him." Obviously there would be duplicate bad guys but how many of us team with people that have the exact same primary/secondary as us...not counting the DoA, LOL! Even better they could make the AEs on the level with Elite Bosses: hard to solo, but do-able. That way you get a really satisfying fight out of the guy and might even die a few times and have a reason to hate him as much as he is programmed to hate you...
Example: I'm Chromium Man, a level 15 Fire/Fire blaster. I talk to my contact Rich Johnson and he tells me that he just heard that there's a new villain in town and he's up to no good. I get a warehouse mission and I take out a bunch of thugs who are all yelling about how Coldsnap is going to kill them for this. I leave wondering who this Coldsnap is and what he's up to. The second part of the mission I hit the streets and take out some thugs hoping to hear more about Coldsnap and hit paydirt after 20 or 30 thugs. Coldsnap has been spotted robbing another warehouse in King's Row. I run a third part of the mission and encounter Coldsnap, a level 15 Ice/Ice tanker. We go at it and after a hard-fought battle he escapes while I am distracted by a large group of minions that spawns just as I'm about to arrest him.
Maybe around level 25 I talk to a new contact that says that Coldsnap is out to get me again and I get a new multipart mission where I encounter the increasingly dangerous Coldsnap. The next time I encounter him he's level 25 and has five new powers just like he was a hero and it's a whole new battle...Same at level 35, 45...maybe even every five levels...
"Coldsnap" could be the archenemy of every blaster, every fire blaster or every fire/fire blaster. Get it?
2) The outdoor instanced missions were a great addition to the game. Your contact tells you that they have erected an emergency forcefield and you have like your own little hunting area for as long as you want (unless it's timed, LOL!) But it's not really an "emergency". You can let your mission sit as long as you want. Here's my idea for random villain encounters that utilizes the emergency force field plot idea: A Broadcast goes out over the GM Channel: "Blue Phoenix is on the rampage in Peregrine Island, please be on the lookout." This is the first warning. Anyone who doesn't want to fight Blue Phoenix should evacuate the area and get to a "safe-zone". The next warning comes a few minutes later: "Blue Phoenix is on the rampage in [some PI neighborhood]" This is a second warning and when this goes out, Blue Phoenix attacks. He swoops/jumps/speeds/TPs into the neighborhood and starts aggressively attacking any heroes in the area. You're a level 6 blaster? You should have listened to the broadcast and gotten the Hell out of Dodge cause he's gonna one-shot you...He won't attack outside of the neighborhood that he "spawns" in so you can run from him if you see him and he may not kill you. The third broadcast, a few minutes after he spawns: "An Emergency forcefield has been erected in [PI neighborhood]." At this point, an emergency forcefield is erected in the neighborhood and you can only get through it by entering a police cordone. Any heroes can enter and but the kibosh on the villain but it's enter at your own risk...and maybe even make it so that you can't teleport out to the hospital if you die. Once the villain is defeated the emergency force field drops and a fourth and final broadcast goes out to announce that the villain has been defeated and the area is safe. Or if no heroes fight him after a given amount of time he grows tired of his rampage and retreats and the area is clear anyway. Obviously, there would be problems with not being able to reach your contacts and junk while the villain was active but I think it would be really cool and it would only be ten minutes so quit your belly aching.
So that's it. What do you guys think? Sorry it's so long but I have a lot to say. And I couldn't be bothered with paragraphs and junk cause I'm at work LOL!
