Alright, I searched and can not find an answer, the examples I saw in this thread seem to assume that what I am trying to do should work, maybe it is broken now:
Using a made up channel name for example here, I'm trying to set the bind:
/bind k "beginchat /send Rogue Rangers, ($name) "
I get the error "you are not a member of channel 'Rogue'. when trying to use the bind.
It seems to have trouble with a channel name with a space in it. Ive tried putting it in quotes, trying rogue_rangers, rogue-rangers, 'rogue rangers', roguernagers, "rogue rangers" nothing will make it see the proper chanel that I am indeed a member of.
I can simply choose the channel from the tab and talk away, so it is not a matter of not being invited to the channel.
Can someone help me with this please? Very frustrated at this point. The same bind works with a single part channel name, but not with names that have two parts. -
I've been hoping to finally be able to swim underwater, to see the waters become more than 4 feet deep
That would have been my guess, underwater/Atlantis type stuff, till I saw the shadows tease.

Cuppa is prolly simply the messenger, dont shoot the messenger bearing bad news.
I have a hunch this may be for legal reasons, perhaps they simply can't "encourage" the use of any client modification at all for some reason by letting the discussion be on the official boards. As long as we can still do what we need to do enjoy the game anyway. (within reason).
Dev clarification would be good. -
As long as they don't ever patch the client or something to stop the use of sound overides. Can't see going back to the hum of fortitude, instant healing, integration etc.
I suspect they just can't allow posts on the boards talking about it is all. I hope. Planned on playing this game for a long long time.
