Quietly, the low clouds creeping across the sky took a slight hue that slowly deepened to a rich red before fading to a shade of purple that would never be recreated. Not in nature and not by man. Without care, the sky continued it's inextricable dance, light retreating from the coming dark, only to trade places as dark retreated from the light come the morn.

Beneath this never ending dance a lone figure stood, waiting, watching. A figure cloaked in darkness watching for dark acts that demand retribution. His dance was not yet as old the darkening sky that loomed above, though it was much the same. He showed no signs of tiring, he'd waited long some nights for his prey. This night however, he wouldn't wait long at all.

Perched above the near vacant streets, he'd become accustomed to this place, the creaks and groans of the building ledge, the sound of the wind swirling beneath and around him. The whisper in his ear was new and, he thought, impossible. A hand, quick and deadly reached to the place where someone should be only to reach... empty air. Turning to survey his location, mentally marking every spot against what it should look like, he discovered he was quite alone.

The voice came again, deep, almost sultry this time, "Why?"

Moonlight glinted off his armor as he moved, only a few steps available on his watching spot as he verified that there was no ther living thing with him. "Who are you. What do you want." No trace of question in his voice, only a cold demand for answers.

Again it spoke one word, "Why?" Lightly touching his ear almost solid, almost real, but too delicate to be human. Realizing the voice would not answer him, there was no one to bring the answers from, all that was left was to answer it. "What do you want." There was no questing in his voice, only a demand for an answer to his statement. "Tell me why you you would allow it." His curiosity overriding his ire, "Allow what." A smoky tendril like an incredibly long finger formed in the evening mist and dew pointing down to the streets below. In an instant his feet were on those same streets, his eyes following the mists to a wall, to a poster on that wall, a poster of him.

His dark armor rendered in bright shades of pink, a frilly tu-tu about his waist, an impossibly large lollipop in one hand. The true depth of this visage hit him as he noticed a similar rendering on every wall, on every street corner, on every street... everywhere.

Thanks. I'd put some of my pencil work here, but they're all original characters that have nothing to do with Co* .

This is just a quicky I made in "Paint" of TA!

Please judge me, and tell me how I can become a better artist. I know I could've probably done better with pencil, but I didn't want to have to scan it and everything.

Becuase he's become quite close to his contacts? ....maybe....I guess...... but he didn't exist before he got amnessia, so really he doesn't actually have amnessia, but since he didn't exist he doesn't remember anything, so he thinks he has amnessia!

His enamy is the evil Dr. Phsychoto(I think that's how it would be spelled) who is continueously trying to capture Blue to find out what makes the magical runes tattooed on him give him strength. I'm still kinda' still working on it, so I don't even know for sure....

I have no visible powers besides the claws. His personality is very quiet, he's merciless to his enemies but will risk his own life to save someone he loves..... but he has no loved ones that he knows of becuase he has amnessia, and knows nothing of his past. This is the best I have of him just standing, but it's the wrong costume, and he wouldn't have his hands on his hips like that. If you need me to, I can take a screen shot real quick?

Well, This thread is probably going to get you lots of replies you don't like heh. As Starchasm said, the 'really Good' guys either have que's a mile long, or charge money (usualy both) ... and before you scoff, most people consider the prices for the quality of their work Very reasonable (I know I do, and I also can't afford them either but then, I can barely afford coh atm heh) On the other hand, there are many talented artists here who occasionally open themselves up for freebies (See, Serengti Lord, CJ, Quake, and quite a few others) you just have to get in line and hang around to see when these threads pop up.

Also, if you have any sort of ability yourself (even if it just looks like 'a little kid did it') many artists love to trade/collect from many sources, and you could probably work out trades easy enough.

There are many paths to good art on this board, money, time, persistence (as in, hanging out, and being a nice guy regular, not just bugging everyone. Though TA does both, he's an exception. >.&gt starting a new thread and offering the Priveledge of someone to draw your character (and only someone 'good' at that!) is not going to win you a lot of brownie points. Do you honestly think the 'good' artists have nothing better to do than sit around and wait for someone to 'let them' draw their character? hehe Esspecially with nothing but your appreciation offered in return?

Anyhow. lecture over. Welcome to the art boards, browse around, enjoy the artz, help the artists when they ask for critiques, meet new people (we're really pretty nice over in our little corner here) and have fun.

Look around and see if there's an artist here who's style you like - "Please draw me!" threads are sometimes successful, but more often than not get lackluster attention. Plus there's no better incentive for art than flattery!

There are a lot of talented people here who draw for free, but their lists are pretty long. If your standards are really high you might have to be willing to shell out some moolah.

I'm looking for a good artist to make me a picture of of Blue Dagger, that would be suitable for a desktop wallpaper. I don't care what means you use to make this, whether it's pencils, paint, or on a computer program, I just need a good artist. Someone who knows they're good, and wont make something that looks like a little kid did it

The bigger picture you see when you scroll down a bit shows-off the costume well. And also the "flexing" screenshot shows his top half well.


I don't have a screenshot of the pose I'd like him in, but I'd like him just kinda' standing there with his claws on, looking at you/me/whoever's looking at the picture. Please make his claws long, so that they almost reach the ground.
