Had this done by John Becaro as part of his $7 sketch commission deal, and I was floored when I got this(featuring my Scrapper in one of his most recent costumes)...:

Awhile back, I'd gotten in on John's $7 sketch commission deal, and knew from seeing his other work, that my beloved Scrapper(MA/SR/Body - SuperSpeedster) would be done justice....

...and this awesomeness surprised even me! It captures his sense of speed(but with little self-control personality-wise, much like DC's Impulse) beautifully!

At this point, I'm considering having him do another one featuring CapeMike's current outfit; the art linked here uses CM's previous costume, with the only significant changes being to the shoulder pads/pauldrons and wrists....

Soon as I get back ingame, guess that's another station I have to add to my winamp list....

Still STILL here...lurking is about all I can do....

Still working on a solution to the PC getting back online problem...no idea when things might be back to normal...keep the light on for me!

Just to explain, I was on an /SR scrapper, with all the passives, and the 3 toggles, and Weave... and Elude.

So um... these guys are quite accurate, yes?

I haven't been this shocked by a first encounter with a new enemy group since my MM stepped off the ferry in Sharkhead and thought "Demolitionists, eh? They don't look that dangerous..."

Yeah, heh...those Overseers are way up on my MA/SR Scrapper's list of mobs to Boot as quickly as possible....

I'd seriously consider buying one of EACH design if they were readily available!

My one, shining moment in a pvp zone came some time back in Siren's....

Huge melee had broken out on the villain side of the map in the water, with the beached ship just in sight...; the Hero teams were grouped fairly closely together, apparently still trying to discern their chances of a rush on the villain base, and staying in or very low to the water.

On my Energy/Devices Blaster, it didn't take me long to learn that Stalkers could be 'seen' through Hide in the water, thanks to the wake trail still animating when they moved, and even if that failed, I could still see one that was lurking around the perimeter of a FF bubble that my group was staying in, thanks to my target drone...also didnt take me long to figure out that he couldn't -tell- that I could see him...I knew from experience that trip mines are all but impossible to see or detect in water, and decided to try something...as the battle raged all around, I mostly stayed in one area, darting around randomly, but always dropping another mine when I passed over a given spot...once I'd dropped 7 mines, I laid down some caltrops on the spot, checked for the Stalker, found him, and deliberately dropped my cloaking device in a 'playing possum' gambit....

Sure enough, he turned in my direction a few seconds later, waited for a heartbeat, then lunged in, thinking 'easy kill'.

The Caltrops instantly dropped his Hide...the 1st mine dropped his other toggles......he was dead before the remaining 6 mines had finished their detonation animations....

He got me back not long afterwards, but I was satisfied in knowing that I'd likely given him very good reason to think twice before getting near a Devices user again.... *chuckle*

Well, I don't have a screenshot of it, but I can tell you about my most memorable moment of(near) victory....

In a cave mish with some SG mates(full group of 8) vs. Malta everywhere...; pull about midway through the mish goes horribly wrong....

5 of our guys go down in seconds, and 2 more take down a mob or 2, then are forced to run for the exit...1 doesn't make it as a ranged attack takes them down like a bad French souffle'.

I'm on my MA/SR Scrapper, doing what I can to take a few down, and am the last one standing...normally, I would have pulled out the moment the other 2 did, but I was trying to buy them some time..and I took comfort that at least 1 managed to get out....

Moments later, -some-thing inside me just said 'ah, screw it, BANZAI!!'; I popped Elude, turned to face the 14 Malta still coming at me, and just ran in....

3 minutes later and as the team was still cheering me on, I'd dropped 11 of them, including both Sappers and a Zeus, before one of the remaining 3 finally got me...; by this time, the rest of the team had regrouped and, if only this once, I knew that I'd been the star of the show, so to speak....

I dunno...they say crisis brings out the best in people, and for me, I can think of several times in gaming that sheer emotions have triggered a 'killer instinct' that even bothers -me- sometimes...not a rabid, expletive-laden tirade, but something that just puts me into a nth-level gear for a short time....

Still don't have my regular DSL connection back yet(sob), but I'd certainly like to watch this as a spectator...I'm pretty much beyond hope for learning to be better at pvp...perhaps you could have someone(as an observer drone) recording this via fraps(or some such) for posting on youtube?

...never been a fan of speed-runs here, which is kind of ironic considering I have ADHD...guess it's the writer in me that always tries to narrate the story to myself as I play a given mission/arc/TF/SF.... *shrug*

Anyway, once I get my PC situation ironed out, there's gonna be some tail-kicking to make up for!

It's just proving difficult to coordinate a time to get someone in here to(most likely) install and activate a new line...; ironically, my Nintendo Wii is back online(which is actually where my last 2 posts have come from), so I've been playing the bajeezus outta Mario Kart Wii....

But I miss not being able to kick around Nemesis troops...or looking up a comedic MA story...or eye-beaming a lv 1 Hellion stealing some lady's purse just because he looked at me wrong...or reading the chatter from my global channels...or randomly Booting people in the Head for no good reason other than that I can.... <_<;

Gotta plan something big for when I get back...aside from testing I15 of course....

Thanks, Jade...; I'm still around, we're just having trouble arranging to get my own PC back online...looks like we're gonna have to get a 2nd phone line activated here...; cost some extra $ a month, but it's our best option....

Yeah, it was Dark...1st glove caught me right on the jaw, and as I reeled back forward to get my balance and grip back, the lower glove popped out and got me in the groin...it wasn't a square hit or I woulda been flat out on the air mattress below, but it still didn't feel too good for a minute, heh....

Totally worth it though as I appeared to make it onto the 'best wipeouts' list from the tour for awhile! There's an outside chance some of those clips MIGHT make it onto the show at some point, if only to show off the tour...and of course, if my clips gets aired...can we say 'power trip', anyone?

ABC was doing a promo for Wipeout in Atlanta Wednesday, where I just happened to be for a short meeting...they had the log roll and punch-drunk obstacles available for anyone to try...now, there was no water below, but an equally safe inflatable mattress....

My log-roll attempt bombed right off the bat when it went right rather than to the left as I was anticipating, resulting an a spectacular faceplant onto the mattress; I headed for punch-drunk next, and...well, see for yourselves!

...this one goes out to everyone I've Booted in the Head...you get to see ME take one to -both- heads.... <_<;;

Lovely...one of my arc missions uses the Burning Forest map...time to recheck it...again....
