Well I am still having long loading times
I also have the problem in Character Selection.... slow to load costume textures, aura's etc
however after about 3 mins it is fine

Hope an update soon will fix the problem, I just wanna play and its putting me off

I find the Dualist and Predator = Gladiator:
Combat Shield: Toggle: Self +DEF(Smashing, Lethal, Energy)
The most usefull for my squishies...
(Dualist by default gives Auto: +Max End)
also
Cimeroran and Chronologist = Time Lord:
Time Lord's Boon: Auto: Self +Recharge, Res (Slow, Teleport)
is great for those slow moments
(Chronologist gives Auto: Recipe Bonus (Mission Completion)

But that is just my preference

Anyone know a date for Open Beta?
