I'm with you on that!
Was helped out twice by GM Hughe and GM Scarlett, and both of them have been incredibly nice, friendly and helpful! On the second call I even simply missed a mob that had hidden itself, and I would've sworn there was none left, but they were so nice as to even teleport me to them!I shudder to think what some other game's GMs would've said to that!
I don't think I have ever been in a game with GMs that good. -
Well, for 20 minutes each and every hero in all the Atlas Park instances (eight?) could go off and click any mission door in the zone.. they'd then either get 'Treat', which was usually an inspiration, but sometimes a temporary power, or 'Trick', which resulted in a few special monsters coming out of that door (Jack O'Lanterns, witches, werewolves, vampires, ghosts, etc.).
Some of those monsters gave badges as well, such as Hunter for Vampires, Buster for Ghosts and Malleus for Witches.
Oh yes, there was a one minute delay between clicking doors. But it was fun, really! Can't wait for the main event!

Walter Peck was YOU!? Wouldn't have thought!
And I do hope it'll last longer than 20 minutes on the live servers! -
As Requiem so nicely put it, "Gott im himmel, i am zo lonely!"
First the Strudel, now the candy.. where will it end?
Anyways, it was a lot of fun! The Jack O'Lantern Strengs were definitely the highlight.. so yayful! The crowd was pretty calm and with few troublemakers, so that was good too, as was the chat afterwards (thanks again, Valmeric!)
I'm SO looking forward to the all-out Halloween event!
P.S. : Are you the Lady Sadako from the boards, Virtue and the Stratics Chat? -
Those are ambush leftovers.. so might've been that a higher-level hero had a mission in Kings Row or so and, upon exiting the mission a group of monsters appeared which the hero either missed or ran away from. Missed. Not that heroes would run away from stuff.
Edit: Oops! How embarassing.. was looking at the wrong page, and kept wondering why my posts weren't being added at the bottom. Oh my, so shameful...
