Hah, had to share this one. 8-man team, we're on level 5 difficulty, level 24-26 (for the most part, had one or two SK'd up. In the world of AE, you can't be picky when you're running normal missions). We're in one of those office maps in a particular place where three mobs spawn very near one another. We manage to take one out without agroing the other two. So far so good.
The other two are practically on top of each other, and, sure enough, both are agro'd. There are a ton of mobs. But you know what? That's ok! One mob was in one of those nice short dead-end alcoves. I dropped quicksand on them (and the other group once it came up), earthquake between the two mobs and then Galed the group in the alcove over and over until we finished up the first group (which got freezing rain non-stop. I sure love SB).
As much as I normally dislike knockback, a reliable knockback and a corner is your best friend. Gale+quicksand was the MVP combo in that fight. Makes me wish I'd have fit hurricane into my build earlier than 30. -
I'm so glad I read this thread. I've been playing a new Earth/Storm (currently at 24) and its been a blast to play. I'm glad that there are still people out there looking for controllers that control. That said, I've got a fire/kin (which I made WAAAAY back in like I2) and have done that whole song and dance. It can get the job done for control when you're actually trying (which I usually do), but Earth/Storm makes it feel so... easy. I just start the popcorn machine and then jump with the bouncing enemies, firing off my single-target hold when its up and other stuff as needed. The team is meanwhile annihilating them without taking damage. Everyone wins!

Some of the sound effects are a bit aggrevating, I'd also like to see different animations for the first 3 single target powers. The first two are identicle, the third is almost the same.

Question 1: What's your favorite color?
[/ QUOTE ]
"Well, I've always liked green," says Avilus, who despite this claim is wearing a black tshirt and cold weather BDUs. "My super suit actually has a lot more green..."
The archmage Mazarin, on the other hand, had a less obvious response. "I perfer a dark purple," he replied while gengerly sitting down on a bench, his wizened face twisting slightly with strain. "Probably not obvious from my red robes..." he pats one of the quartet of flaming creatures that had followed him to the bench,"...and all the fire, but purple has a simple majesty to it that I quite enjoy."
"I don't like colors," Arathnul responded. "They're too bright. When I can see colors I know that blasted orb is hanging overhead," he stabs a finger to the sky. "I guess my favorite color is 'night,' though I know that isn't a color." -
I've been looking at putting a burn tanker together recently and now I'm curious, are you really alright putting Stamina off so long in such a toggle-heavy build (as all fire tanks are)? Is the effect of consume so great and so reliably constant that you can viably put stamina off until level 30, as you have done in the sample build?
