Quote:I like tongue-in-cheek banter, but whose tongue goes in whose cheek? There's no bitterness on my end. I thought the Rookery's posters were a laid back relaxed bunch and could handle some tongue-in-cheek banter. Cien_Fugos gave me positive rep for the rookery thread I started on Sunday. He must have thought it was funny.

Welcome to Virtue, Swyft! We have many, many roleplayers. And, uh, quite a few non, too. But it's always good when I get to point and chant "One of us! One of us!"

In some ways I like CO's naming policy. Especially when thinking of comic super-groups like The Green Lantern Corps. I mean, they're all, technically just Green Lantern, so they'd all have the same name. And yet, Alan Scott is also Green Lantern, but has nothing (technically) to do with that group. CO's naming policy allows for that sort of structuring.
I'm curious to actually see it in action, though. How confusing can it get and how obtrusive is the global name when viewing a character, I wonder. -

Good morning, all!
Is it cheating if I hop into my time machine and fast-forward to Friday? -

Now all I have left is my sonic monkey wrench and my sonic monkey!

I like frozen cookies. They melt in my mouth, not in my hand. Unless, you know, I keep them in my hand for too long.

I like static teaming and coordinated/regularly scheduled SG events with RP built in. League of Justice had that for a while. We did Task Force/Radio Mission Sundays for about two months. In the end, though, like everyone's mentioned, real life will kick the everloving crud out of statics. I happy to just RP in any team I pug myself into. Plotlines can be reserved for writing.

Maybe your shirt was made of pudding?

Trial by pudding? Again? I hope it's the lemon pudding and not the heavier butterscotch. *gets a spoon and starts "cleaning"*
G'morning, everyone! -
My, my, my; look at all the vehicles you're getting! I'm guessing you have no need for this pink jalopy pedal car anymore, then?

Hey, who left the fridge door open all weekend? Anyone want any, uh, butter, with their coffee?

The Future? I heard Scully and Mulder fought it. But the fight was very, very boring.

Good morning! Fresh B2524, anyone? -
I rarely have a problem finding a team on Virtue, but I go through my global friend channels rather than broadcast. In broadcast I do see more AE team requests than anything else these days. Still plenty of TFs and SFs going on, and I've noticed the occasional non-AE missioners, but, uh, yeah, AE's taken over broadcast. I think the ratio's about the same on every server, really. It's just that Virtue and Freedom have a greater populous so it's easier to notice all the AE team requests.
Your best bet is to move to Virtue, start listening to The Cape, join the Cape Radio global channel, make friends, RP and find teams through there. Or you, know, any good global channel will do. -
Congrats, Nadya! We'll leave the light on for you! /Tom Bodett.
