Why do the Stealth Suppression items lose their laser beams if you move them around after their original placement? I can get the laser effects to come back if I drag them into another room (That supports defense items. And then back again, clearly), but the next time I come into the base these effects are again missing. This makes me cry. In fact, I'm no longer sure if those effects will stick around if I DON'T touch them again after placing them and I'm not inclined to test it out considering that I might have to flush the inf the five I've already made cost.
Why does the Energy Curtain aux. power item not attach to the Turbine Generator? -

More Lego blocks, including:

Yes, plain glass panes (NOT wall items) would be awesome. Another important attribute they should possess is that they should not overlap if placed next to each other or leave a gap (Perhaps your size suggestion already takes care of that, I dunno).
Also, your other suggestions would be great.
And I'd be pretty happy if some Arcane items were given bottoms, particularly the building block type items. -
Well, I couldn't resist the urge to start messing around with things, so I made a room for me to play with. Here is the result.
Most of the room is taken up by someone-in-here's idea for a tree. I haven't used the space beneath it yet (I just wanted to try making a huge tree), but it does have a little garden shelf that's off to the side and hard to see (So, secluded!).
I also made a bit of a mess experimenting with wall vent art and inverted pyramids. The perpendicular vents can only be done from one side, apparently, so that rather cuts down on the possibilities (If you try from the "wrong" side, it won't go down the middle of the light you're floating it off of -- it'll stay on the edges. And you can't do THAT from the "right" side, which is equally too bad). I'll still use 'em for something more impressive later on, thanks to these experiments. The inverted pyramid is probably not going to be built up into something huge, because I can't think of a point.
What I'm most proud of is my suspended head office, next to another set of giant tree's roots. I'm not too sure about how faint the glowing eyes are, but I can probably double up on the hidden torches to fix that. Anyway, the view is nice and it's packed full of stuff. It's cozy, too.
Lastly, I added to the salvage storage unit to make it look more impressive. I'm sure people have already done that exact sort of thing, but I'm very happy with the results.
Now I will actually start *working* on the base. Augh. That room can't stay, but the prospect of recreating the tree in a GOOD spot is a little daunting. I don't mind moving the office, because I had a couple of unnecessary bits I couldn't remove and I don't want the "roots" clipping through. The salvage storage probably won't have to be moved at all -- score!
Oh! Most importantly, I realized that you can stack those lights in my dabblin' room sky-high and then float EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE ROOM off of them AT ANY HEIGHT. ANY DISTANCE -- when I say "float off of them", I mean WAY off of them. One column of those lights negates the need to use and clean up untold billions of desks, so I'm gonna do that from now on (I made the vast majority of what you saw with desks. QQ).
Hope you enjoy! -
I actually like that pretty well - nice clean lines and a cool stylized body.
One of my complaints was about the left arm, and your fix helps a lot. We should be able to see his left hand, though that depends on where you put the elbow. In your fix, I guess the arm is far enough out to the side for us to only need to see a hand. If you put the elbow lower, maybe we should get a taste of forearm as well. Etc. You're right, though; it was just confusing when it was up so high in the original picture.
The other critique is that I think the blast coming out of his right palm would look a lot better if there was only the solid orange color, and no additional linework (The current curved lines) or colors within the outermost lines (the straight jagged ones). Mostly, I just don't like what's going on inside the blast effect.
You might want to tilt that hip armor 45 degrees, also? I think that's quite optional from a realistic point of view, but it might look better when tilted anyway.
Tablets are neat! Good job! -
Heh, I figured that gec72 would take it home (Although I really liked the chibi one of Projectionist's, too). Good job!

Ok, here's the swing I took at this.
With no background or border.
With a vague background and no border.
With no background and a border.
With a background and no border.
With a background and a border.
All of the various background / border combinations together, set to this message board's background color for avatars. Some probably won't look so hot on the CoV theme's color, I didn't think about that. Oh well.
I like Blue Shield's sorta "Judge Dredd" vibe (The character, not the dev). He needs more love than he can get stuck in front of the police department all day. As far as the avatar goes . . . the studs along the shield's side were too problematic to include (Since I didn't bother to think ahead). Whoops. There should be a goodly amount of the other proper details in there, though. *shrug* -
I don't see why she should take down the offending pieces. I do DEFINITELY think she should cite the source material, however, instead of claiming it all as her own original work. There's no shame in drawing something that's been drawn before - unless it's done in a manner that pretends you were the first one to draw it. And, honestly, it seems a little coincidental that "only those two and nothing else I swear" that were "found out" were taken from other material. Ok. Well, whatever.

Oh. So should those that "can do" not critique? -

Some of the hearts SHOULD be sideways. However, that does not diminish the awesomeness of your picture. I don't even hate you. I'm being so sincere right now. -
And before I start making some Business Minds all hot and bothered with the idea of re-visiting the "Pay money to win fabulous new powers for your characters via supplement packs!" idea, NO. NO. *BAD* Business Mind. That is NOT what I want. I'm just saying that Precedent has already been Established for what $10 "should" buy.
In fact, if this "Wedding Pack" proved to be the last such "Pay for additional content" pack I ever saw for CoH, I would be happy. -
My two inf:
I am somewhat indifferent and mildly testy about the Business Minds behind CoH trying to sell $10 worth of additional (Meaning, no matter how many times a month I pay them for this game, those dollars will not go towards purchasing this) in-game material to me. Why, you ask?
- It's too expensive. It's easily five dollars too expensive for what I would get. There are no manufacturing costs, no shipping costs, and no way to hang on to these "materials" if you stop paying a monthly fee (Although that last one is obvious and reasonable). These could and should be far, FAR cheaper. Sure, they took some time to create this for us. But they will be getting paid for their one-time effort over and over again, forever, because this pack will always be available for purchase.
- Conversely, the additional material is not sufficient enough reason to pay additional money. The only other $10 "supplemental pack" available gives two powers and two full sets of additional costume pieces (Meaning two sets of shoulder, chest, glove, leg, and foot pieces - and there are two glove and foot options to each set, not to mention the multiple chest options the chest pieces are available in) to every Male, Female, or Huge character of any AT that you have (And I'm leaving out the badge because that's irrelevant, despite my badge count).
Some highly-silly (Although I would definitely use them) emotes, coupled with a few (Literally, I think there are three?) male costume pieces that are all very similar to costume pieces that males already have (From the very few pictures I've seen) and a much-more-acceptable number of costume pieces for females (Which, of course, include all the male pieces, but the same cannot be said of even one of the female pieces for the males), are not even close to winning me over the already-established $10 price tag that I paid for the other supplement pack.
And I have absolutely no idea what the "Excess Plus", "Hearts Plus", "Angelic Plus" costume pieces for female Chests and Hips are supposed to be. Could those descriptions BE any more vague? Pictures, please. I don't play "Internet Psychic" with money.
Would I pay good money to get this pack? Hell, yes. Of course. Would I pay $10? Hell, no. Maybe when I retire young and famous, though (Wish me luck). :P -
This is fantastic work. Very Aboriginal-sounding, too.
I . . . I think I love you. But that's okay. As a Child of Defender, I can find no shame in love.
