  1. Jenn and I have played together since closed beta, heck during the pre-order beta invite days I had myself, my wife, my sister and her hubby, and two friends I rent rooms to all playing at my house so we could group. Boy the power bill that fateful winter/spring was high. :-)
I agree though as far as the game is more enjoyable when your spouse plays. I played UO for 5 years and Jenn did not and it did cause static. :-) We did play Earth and Beyond together and she really enjoyed that. We even went to a fan gathering together and she helped me grill the devs on game issues. :-)
I appreciate the fact that Paragon City has enough content to interest me and entice Jenn to play as well.

Now the question is does States play with a Stateswoman or Mrs. Liberty?

    Celebrant, baby!

When exactly did it become fashionable for people to take something thoughtful that someone (or group) does for you, then pick it apart and instead of thanks find countless ways to say what they should have given you as a gift? When I was a kid, if I did this at Christmas or a birthday, generally it was not tolerated. So to that end I say to Positron, and Statesman, and Cuppa and Poh and the other eleventy-two devs and support staff thankyou:
Thank you for helping me fly like I did in the backyard or my mind as a kid.
Thank you for the hours of sleep you did not get this year.
Thank you for listening to our whining and our praise in very unequal portions, and for staying the course.
Thank you for caring, genuinely caring about your product, it's quality and your clients.
Thank you for not giving us everything we want and turning Paragon City into the land of Verucca Salt.
Thank you for a story and a background that has brought many hours of gameplay, entertainment, frustration, and new friends.
Thank you for making it a year and not leaving us for some new project.
Most of all thanks for a game that my family, and friends enjoy, for helping make missions table talk at breakfast on Sundays, and for an excuse to have people over and BBQ whilst we "meet" as a SuperGroup.

Until Statesman sells out and goes bald, make mine Paragon!
