One of the key points (part of step #6 in the original post, in fact) is that no enhancements are changed. This would be a straight upgrade of current enhancements - if the store doesn't sell the upgrades you have then the option wouldn't be available.
I do like the idea of a drag-and-drop cart, though, and that's certainly a good alternative. I encourage you to post it as its own suggestion. Ultimately all I want is a more user-friendly way of upgrading enhancements. This is simply my take on that.
Call me a noob if you like, but I don't yet know what aOnCaDl or QoL are - perhaps if you would care to explain I can answer your critique better. -
I imagine that would be something for the developers to decide. If they wanted to go through the trouble they could create prompts and/or buttons for favoring different enhancements, thus:
1) Player enters purchasing window
2) Player clicks *new* "Upgrade Enhancements" button
3) Player chooses which level to upgrade enhancements to (if applicable)
5) Player is given "Are you sure?" prompt
Player doesn't have enough influence.
6)Player is given a reorder list of the enhancements they have that allows them to set priority of upgrades
7) Enhancements at the top of the list are upgraded first, next in the list are upgraded second, etc. until player runs out of influence
Or the Devs could elect to gray out the auto-upgrade button if the player doesn't have enough influence, and perhaps put a subtitle that says, "(Not enough Influence)" beneath the "Upgrade Enhancements" text. -
Thinkin it would be mighty fine if there were a way to automatically upgrade enhancements. Here's a sample structure:
1) Player enters purchasing window
2) Player clicks *new* "Upgrade Enhancements" button
3) Player chooses which level to upgrade enhancements to (if applicable)
5) Player is given "Are you sure?" prompt
6) All enhancements that can be upgraded are upgraded to selected level. No enhancements are changed.
7) Player is charged for sum of enhancement cost
This would alleviate the tedium of searching for enhancement upgrades, especially those oddball ones at the end.
