How about sprites of a chicken dinner?
Those sprites I did before were the result of lots of pain and time and broken keyboards. ;p Not really my forte, just a lot of desire to do them. n.n;
-
Quote:Yeah I realized that but... darn.. I just can't resist showing off my art. Glad you like the sprites though.I was being silly. It didn't work.
....
Gah! Sprites! My weakness! I LOVE sprites! And I can't find the old thread for MegaMan Sprites of CoH characters! T_T
I've had the first one done years ago, from before I came to CoH.
Quote:Ok. Now you folks are really beginning to make me jealous. Especially Grae Knight, Apollinaris and Vivace. Just exactly what does a Brutha have to do, to get himself turned into one of these sweet signatures? -
Yes I figured this out myself. Which is a bit more helpful, still, it's a bit annoying. Haven't tried doing such a bind with a $$ and an emote in there yet, but that should work, right?
-
I just wanted to say that this is perhaps one of the more annoying bugs to strike. I really, really miss the ability to color my bind keys to different things.. I don't use F7 for Ready, I moved them over to F9-F12 so I'm screwed for getting the color right.
Before I could do that, play with my emotes. It was great. Now, everything is plain old white and black.
I really hope this gets fixed sometime soon.

Oh that's simple. I hired an artist who draws that way. I commissioned Fencer a few years ago and didn't have CoH in mind at the time of the commission. I have a piece coming up soon where she should be in comic style, but since it's an action piece it's hard to say how she'd look for a signature. Here's the full piece of Fencer.*
In case you're wondering, the logo is done by me.
You can find the art that John Becaro did, which appears in my signatures posted here
And well, while I'm posting stuff. Sprites. Yay. I did the sprites with a little help and a lot of shoving them in other people's faces. ;p
*For the record, I like Becaro's work better. He's also a lot faster. The picture of Fencer took almost two years to get back. -
Just as a note to anyone interested I thought I'd make it known that Redoubt Operations #2: Wrath of the Imperium is finally up on CoHMR now
-
Quote:Well I couldn't help setting myself up a rotating signature either. So, well, here it is.Congratulations! You've been infected!
*pastes URL into address bar, then spends an hour refereshing it to look at images* @_@
BTW, I have to say, free web hosting sure has evolved by leaps and bounds from back in the day when I first looked for webhosting, from the days when geocities was still popular. Just, wow. I've been using webspace from ISP to avoid the whole issue, but, wow, things sure have evolved... -
These are all just so very cute. I'm filled with not-so-cute envy looking at them. ;p I don't suppose my request for one came through, did it? I imagine you're swamped under the requests.

When these sorts of things happen elsewhere don't relax. Bureaucrats imitate each other on a regular basis. If they realize their fellow bureaucrats in another region got away with something they'll eventually try the same thing in their region, it's only a matter of time. -
Thanks for the opinions Gladius.
I've read through the review and there are some interesting ideas in there. If I can figure out a way to implement some of those ideas I'll do so.
I hope you give #2 a try in the near future.
PS. #3 is probably where the big "gotchas" will occur. Assuming I can get the MA to do what I want. -
I fixed my oversight from before. Sorry about that. Both arcs should be on CoHMR as soon as the editors add them.
-
Quote:Whoops. When you said "Post in CoHMR" in the first post I thought you meant this thread.Well, it's nice that you've got stuff about it on Youtube and elsewhere, but I generally don't review things in this thread that aren't listed on www.cohmissionreview.com. Like it says in the first post?
Guess I should have put together the acronym and the link at the top together. Guess I better do something about that.
-
If you would, I would love to see a review of Redoubt Operations #1 and #2 found in their feedback thread.
-
It's actually her targetting drone, BOB. But he does look very similar to her helmet.
Heh, really? And all this time I've been going about getting people to like my stuff all wrong. XD -
Yeah it's probably not healthy. Just look at me. ;p
-
Good to hear everyone liking all this.
The whole floating in space thing and the cracked helmet turned out just as awesome as I imagined they would. The last piece has been taking a whole because it has two characters in it, but, here's hoping it's done soon.
-
Yeah, what Venture said. Besides if we are good at writing arcs and we've go a sense of humor you've got prove to use that you're idea is funnier than our ideas. ;p

Well I guess I was bored yesterday because I was reading about super sidekicking and the "Chipmunk Chirstmas Song" popped in my head, and before I knew it I was singing this silly parody. So, here it is, my voice butched by audio software singing about Issue 16.
Issue 16 Chipmunk Song
Issue Sixteen time is near
Time for joy, and time for beer
We've been good, but we can't last
Hurry Sixteen, hurry fast
Want to super sidekick my group
Imma colorin' mah shoop da whoop
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Sixteen don't be late
PS. If anyone wants to to add to this, I still need two other vocal tracks for the two other singers. If you want to be in this track then post a reply with a link to a wav file of just your voice. Make sure you sync it up to my vocal track and stay silent during the "Imma colorin' mah shoop da whoop" lyric.Enjoy. If I can get the other two vocal tracks I'll probably put it into a video.

This is awesome Positron. Just as long as you fix that power loss thing for being a few levels ahead.
Don't want to be punished for being 49 and playing a 47 mission.
PS. The email options sound good but I never use the character friends list because we have the global one and my friends have multiple character And my SG is so large it spans multiple supergroups so our "true" member roster is our global channel which ensures we all stay in touch regardless of our characters or which SG division we're in. See a pattern here? Being able to only accept mail from the Global friends list and being able to designate the denizens of global channels as "safe" would be great. (Or even better, why not make the email global too?) -
You can get more time for your videos on youtube by applying for a director's account. They're not too hard to get, they just take a long time. Or at least that used to be true. Couldn't tell you what it's like now.

A little while ago I commissioned 4 pieces of artwork from John becaro and I wanted to share them with everyone here. 3 of the pieces are done currently and I'm still waiting on the 4th. I'll add it in when it's done.
Kali Erinyes
Apollinaris and BOB
Zincarla
Fencer Naiad vs. Kali Erinyes

Quote:Grae, your powerset listing in your banner is almost unreadable. The outerglow combined with the non-serif font and slant is just too much to distinguish through.Quote:Thanks, I just did not notice it. Maybe if I toned down the glow of the small letters it may be more legible.
I did shrink the banner from the original size so that may be part of the problem.
Seriously though, it doesn't come in straight. XD -
Quote:Only in the supreme madness that is the modern day could you buy something and then be told that you don't actually own it and the person who sold it to you is going to tell you how you go about using it.Well, I found the music I want to use for an I-16 teaser and a GR teaser... but it's $200 each to license the music.
My own fault, I guess, for trying to go legit.
PS. I'd like to point out that the hoops you're deciding to jump through now were put in place by a lobbyist for group that wanted to limit competition and make markets less-free so they can charge more so they bought off your politicians because they've got the monopoly on force in your area. Just wanted to make the underlying hypocrisy of the whole situation abundantly clear.
