Wha? Paying for new content? I don't think so. It's always been one of the hallmarks of this game, that they keep adding cool new stuff and you get it because, you know, you already pay $15 each month.

I'm usually very pro-devs and pro-NCSoft, but this sort of thing has taken a big chunk out of my goodwill toward the company. If this is the way things are going to be around here, they'll be losing a long-time customer. Seems silly to shoot yourself in the foot with this little pricing scheme.

So, am I the only one who noticed that when he says, "You must stop the squabbling with your Rikti counterparts," he mispronounced Rikti? He actually says Ritki.

Everything I need to know about this company and how they feel about their fans/customers is summed up by this announcement and thread. That is, they were open and honest and explained what was going on, and then they actually are on the boards late at night answering what they knew would be a #$%*storm of pessimism from some people. Imagine how many companies would have made a change like this quietly, behind the scenes, with only rumors trickling out to the players. I think NCSoft is pretty awesome.

Also, did EL basically come out and admit that Co* has been gimped for the last year and a half due to the MUO conflict of interest? Did he really say that? Damn!

Yeah. It is pretty disappointing getting a plain badge like that. Definitely a lot less interesting that way.

That said, this is the first Halloween event I've participated in, and it's a lot of fun. The costumes are awesome. I wish they would last longer than two weeks though!

Are there any ongoing problems with the CH? Because I could have sworn I had a St. Louis Slammer recipe vanish on me last night. Put it up for sale, went back later and it was gone. Checked through the Auction channel for any kind of notification of it being sold, found nothing.

Maybe I dreamt/hallucinated all that because I stayed up until 6:30 a.m. playing CoH, but I'm pretty sure it happened. :-)

Can anyone confirm this one? All I found there was open water, no way to get to the elevation 137, no badge in sight (not even floating in the air at the coordinates). Or did I just miss it, or go to the wrong place somehow?
