Has anyone else had any trouble redeeming extra character slots?

I'm sitting on 3 unused ones. Tried to redeem one o'er on Infinity. Got the little pop-up window asking me if I really wanted to redeem this slot on this server, which I did, so I hit 'yes.'

My little slot counter went down to 2, but no new slot appeared, and then my unredeemed slot count went back to 3.

Is the system down (tied-in to Marketplace, perhaps?) or just having a moment?
