Arrival
=======
It was a sunny Tuesday afternoon on a side street just off Constellation Row in Galaxy City. People went about their business as usual. Suddenly there was the sound of crackling, like electricity, people nearby looked around them trying to locate the source of the noise. A few of them noticed the small black disc that had appeared a few feet off the ground; it had a hazy purple edge and was about a foot across. After a brief pause the disc started to expand, more people noticed and choose to stop and stare. It had reached a diameter of around 10 feet when a person staggered through and dropped to their hands and knees with their head hung low. Almost straight away the disc dis-appeared with the sound of a large implosion.
Those onlookers still watching, a few had already chosen to leave the area, could see that the person appeared to be a young woman although her pale blue skin and deep purple hair were obvious. The woman lifted her head and screamed it was a scream full of pain and loss. A second scream followed the first and most onlookers started to move away. The woman sat back on her heals and pressed her clenched fists against her face. As she did this a bolt of energy shot from her hands straight upwards shattering the lights that were overhead, although she didnt take notice of either the bolt or the glass that cascaded down around her. Following this anyone still near the woman start to quickly move away. Kneeling up the woman lifted her hands above her head and then fell forward smashing both clenched fists into the ground in front of her in what looked like frustration. As her fists hit the street a ripple of energy went out causing the ground to tremble. In the distance sirens could be heard.
Officer Menzes was the first to arrive at the scene, details where sketchy just reports of a woman causing a disturbance. As he got closer he could see a woman lying in the road weakly banging her fists and kicking her legs. It reminded him of his daughter when she was just about finished with one of her temper tantrums. Bringing his mind back to the job in hand in wondered who this woman was that appeared to be behaving like a wayward child.
