Tesla Frost meets his new AI partner, Cortex

Funny story about that last pic, the though of having a communcative AI in one of the nanomachines in Tesla Frost's armor popped into my idea when I had to log off for dinner during a Posi TF. The AI literally teleported Tesla into his mind to "save him" from the Circle. Excuses, excuses...

(The Japanese lettering on the "walls" is actually a rough translation of an English version of lorem ipsum from 1917.)

My father was a hero named Dragon Ranger. He died in the first Rikti War, as did my mother.

Ironically, I was at my foster father's home in New Jersey when the Rikti first attacked.

There was a huge warship over Menlo Park Mall, and the bomb was stuck in the giant glass dome. From the news reports, everyone was freaking out and couldn't even leave the place because the Rikti were swarming outside. Luckily, a local hero took care of the UXB, but not before paying an ultimate price; he was destroyed by the warship's death ray. Without a MedCom network in our town, he was toast.

I've seen far too much death at the hands of the Rikti. Now the reason I suited up as a superhero has finally arrived...

To pay the Rikti back in kind.

Thanks for all of the nice comments, everyone! To be frank, my lineart could be better and I could have done more with the shading...and all of the special effects were done in a day while referencing tutorials. ^^'

Finally dug up some time to do a picture of my character, Tesla Frost. Enjoy!

As you walk in the streets of Cap au Diable, you notice something awkward about the day...black helicopters, bearing scant but legible greyscale Arachnos signets, fly above the contrasting neighbourhoods of the area.

Suddenly, as if the skies had opened up and the Lord began to cry, pamphlets of paper begin to fall to the street. Out of curiosity, you pick one up and find this as its contents.

Why would helicopters bearing Arachnos logos drop such propoganda? Suddenly, you feel another flier drop onto your head, and as it slides down your face, you catch it and find this.

You ponder insanely as to what is going on...who is "she", the Spider "King"? What is this "change" they refer to?

Perhaps you will seek the truth...
