  1. I have re-written this 3 times since I continue to learn more as I test and re-read:

I am mainly referencing your second and last note and adding some clarification since I was a bit confused by some of the wording (this happens when I think too hard):
“2.) A power which begins a combo or continues a combo in progress causes a buff to be cast on the player.”
"4.) If the first two buffs are present and the third power in a combo is activated, then the effects of that combo are added to the finishing power."

The second note should point out that a power that is a “continuation” of a combo will not cause a buff to appear if used out of order. The concept I had of combos originally before reading this write-up made logical sense being that a power that is only ever a continuation (like Power Slice for example) will not place an icon if used before anything else or during the wrong combo. However, initially reading the note made me re-think that a continuation buff out of order would still put up an icon. I had to re-read this note several times before your explanation “continues a combo in progress” made sense in my head. Of course I know that an icon does not appear from playing, but for those who have not might be slightly confused and will be looking for it.

Now I decided to re-word the initial portion of the last note for my own sanity (and maybe some others): You have to perform the powers of a combination in sequence (for example Weaken: Nimble Slash -> Ablating Strike -> Typhoon’s Edge) in order to receive the effect of the combo when performing the finishing power (Typhoon’s Edge). This may seem stupid, but I can see how some people may be confused since there is not too much mentioned on following the 1,2,3 order of a combo although they are shown in their correct order in the post (I reference Paragon Wiki of each power since the tables help make sense of it). Plus each power info clearly states where it falls in the sequence of a combo (although it does not truly explain how a combo works).

Essentially, I am just clarifying so others and I will be a bit more careful in creating a build (like possibly taking Nimble Slash because it is step 1 of two of the combos). That, and of course be more selective in the order of operations during fights so that you are getting the most out of the power set.

You may have already thought of how to explain these details in a similar fashion with your comment, “Also, as I think about it, my explanation of combo mechanics is off in a couple of the details, so I'll try to sort that out and pester Castle about it a little more.” Very great write-up regardless, should be added to the FAQ’s for Scrappers.
