My great accolades to DocMidnight and our conversations in game to save the spot! My apologies to Perdix, who I'm sure would make a great teammate. I am certainly willing to do another night to join you all with a different toon.
I have been waiting for a group like this for some time! and am immensely excited!!!!!
OH...I should introduce to you...Burnt Sacrifice...a mutant fire/therm controller who was laid at the steps of St. Stephen's Cathedral as a tiny baby. Taken in by the local nuns, they began to be concerned when tiny horns developed on the little boy's head. Soon a tail and tiny wings became noticable.
Concerned that a demonic presence had entered the Sacred Sanctuary, the local priest called a friend trained in paranormal activity.
A friend that just happened to be a covert member of the Crey Foundation.
Dr. Thomas Snide, would take the young child for treatment at one of their "local facilities" for "further investigation".
Sister Naomi, a younger woman at the convent, thought something was a miss, when she overheard Dr. Snide's comments on the telephone with his associates.
Little John Mark, began the process of "experimentation" at the hands of Crey scientists. What they found was an amazing sense of heat that permeated young boy, not to mention the further development of mature wings, horns, and tail.
Posing as a nurse, Sister Naomi, went to visit John Mark and noticed the poor living conditions in which he lived, and the strange instruments that surrounded him.
Hiding him in a food transport, Sister Naomi, smuggled him out of the institution through the back door of the kitchen, Oddly enough, she had been stopped numerous times by a Dr. Wyrick,as she tried to escape. With a wink, Mr. Wyrick, almost seemed to direct her along a safe path.
Once making their way from the lab, she found a small room apartment in Kings Row, that she begged the landlord to allow her to have, "as a gift to the church." She continued to visit him, until Crey Mercenaries, tracked her presence to John Mark. Upon discovery of John, a battle insued that took the life of Sister Naomi.
Crey Merchenaries however, were not prepared for the growing powers of Paragon City's newest Superhero...
Burnt Sacrifice.
