Second of all, where the heck are the villain heavies? I see hero heavy stations everywhere, but I've seen one villain station.

Straight forward from the villain base in the little park area is one, and there's another about a block east of Bravo in a little empty lot between two buildings. I got that one a lot. Not sure where the third one is off the top of my head.

Oh, also, lots of pillboxes were bugged.

There was definitely something weird going on with Golf, maybe a couple of the others too, about it not releasing the current affiliation and switching over properly. Forgot about that.

You can find all the heavy platforms on the OPs map in the bases. On the Villain side look for the round platforms, on heroes they show as Rectangular ( just like the ones in zone).
We have located the Turret bug and have fixed it, thanks for the input on that!

At the end of the first hour, we took a break and one of our members went back through his logs; we made 80 kills in that first hour and had less than 5 deaths. We then started running pillboxes primarily and killing only the heroes that showed up against us. For the next two hours, neither side was able to take the zone. Several times we were one pillbox away from taking it, and I'm pretty sure we were competing against 2 hero teams (we would see two pillboxes go to heroes very quickly.) Somebody also did the recall friend thing on one of the hero pillboxes, making it impossible for villains to take (a very <censored> thing to do IMHO.) We finally gave up when four or five of us (!) had our clients lock up and crash at nearly the same time. By the time we all would have been able to get back in and get organized the heroes would have won the zone.
Final kill tally was around 120 with at most 1 or 2 deaths per team member (with a few who never died at all.)
This isn't meant to be a brag (much ), but more of a statement on villain effectiveness in high level PvP. Whatever worries I ever had about RV being unbalanced against villains are pretty much gone. Skill, organization and good builds can still beat superior numbers; same as every other zone. A smaller organized team can take and hold pillboxes against a larger unorganized one.
To those who were in last night (hero and villain), it was a wicked fun fight, some of the best zone PvP we've seen in a long, long time. We hope to do it again very soon.

Good Work LOTD- The zone is very much about using Strategies.
regarding the pillboxes and recall, Heroes did not do this- it is a bug; currently, when someone controlling the pillbox dies the turrets sometimes follow them to the reclamator.
We have fixed this, and it will be uploaded soon.

I took over a pillbox that was already villain-side, but the person controlling it had been killed or run away or something. It had no turrets, but when I took it over, ONE turret spawned (instead of four) and it was right next to me, clipping the transparent dome. I'm guessing this is a bug.

Lady Sadako- do you remember which pill box this was?
thank you for the information

I've seen this too Archon and it was the one nearest the villain base I believe.

Great- Triangulation helps out lots- we will look into it.
Thanks again!

Also...why is there no official thread for "Heavies". I'm still having trouble finding out where to pick one up for a hero. I've seen the Villian Spider platforms...but can't find the hero location.
[/ QUOTE ]
There are three of them strung out in an arc from the Hero base along the western side to the south wall. Players with Heavies keep them after a zone reversion if they haven't died, so you rarely see a hero Heavy pad with a Heavy on it. Also, players can snag more than one Heavy at a time.
Actually, I think that players should be limited to one at a time, and perhaps lose the Heavy after a zone reversion - just to keep things fresher.

In order to locate Heavy platforms for your side, look at the OPs map in your base. In the Hero base they are marked with "square" markers, and in the Villain base with "round" markers. Read what the informational NPC's have to say, it can be very helpful.
We are currently rieviewing either a timer or a refresh of the Heavies during the temporal reversion. In the mean time, thanks for all the great feedback and keep testing! -
Very good catch- We have removed dismiss from the turrets.
thanks a bunch
