Hello fellow villians. For the first time playing COH/COV I am making a tank (brute). Every toon I have ever played has either been defenders/controllers or corruptors/dominators. I want to try a brute next and I have a great background idea for a dark melee/willpower. The few posts I have seen on the forums seem to showcase endgame builds, what i'd like to know is how did you spec your brutes while leveling. There are some powers that look like must haves that I have not seen in the endgame builds like taunt, touch of fear, and dark consumption. Did you use these powers while leveling? How good were they and did you slot?

Very good guide! I just recently returned to COH/COV after a long absence. I had made a sonic defender when they first came out but remember the graphics being really bad. Running a few missions last night with a pick up group I witnessed a sonic/sonic defender in action for the first time and was impressed!. After reading your guide I think I will give it a try now.
