You should stop at Silent Bob's comic shop in Red Bank, NJ.
That way I might be able to attend. -
I didn't get to play in the event because I went to see DOOOOOOOM.
Could anybody tell me if the battle was swinging one way or another?
Were villains or heroes as a collective force winning the overall war? -

I'm going to go with Wolf.
"Wolf chews up paper"

Dammit, nothing beats all three.
But, since the paper's already chewed up... I'll go with Gun. Targets Rock, and shoots Wolf.
HAHAHA!
*hides from the Nuke that's sure to be coming*

Well, as an emp defender with the new i5 coming, i can see hitting the 1 billion healed mark someday. As is, after lvl 40ish, im more of a buffer. With the tanks needing some empy love, at 800+ a heal... 1 Billion? That is a high mark to shoot for, but not out of reach for emps (sorry to those medicine-pool types, what can i say?). Might have to stop the drive by heals and run some missions.

FUN FACTS TIME!
1,000,000,000 healing for badge / 800 per heal = 1,250,000 heals for badge.
of course that doesn't count your previous heal total.
Does it count the amount of hit points the target recovers or the amount the cast can recover. For example, if I'm down 100 hp below my max, and you hit me with heal for 800, do you get credit for 100 or 800? -

these pokemon games you're playing, you pay a monthly fee for them? if not, then your comment isn't that relevant.
[/ QUOTE ]
It was an analogy not an exact replica of the situation. It's impossible to miss the similarities. The game design works the same way, that's the point. You don't play the pokemon games off of large load balancing servers with thousands of people across the world. There are no updates to the pokemon games. There are no need for GM's to moderate the games. That's where the cost comes in.

cov is very much an expansion to coh, if it weren't, then how is it you HAVE to buy cov in order to get bases for your hero?
[/ QUOTE ]
No, it's not an expansion. The bases are an example of the extra content you get if you have both. If you were to only have CoV, would you say that CoH is an exansion for it because you need it to fight heroes? I guess from that point of view, both games are expansion to each other. And following your logic that you shouldn't pay for expansions, they should all be free.

if you're just throwing out answers because you're a fanboy, sorry, warn me next time so i know.

Ehhhh, I think you've read too many silly stories.
While there were indeed viking raiders during the 8th-11th century the majority of their trips abroad were mainly for trade. Viking traders sailing as far as Constantinopel (modern day Istanbul) to trade fur, amber and other goods for the goods of the continent (such as silk and jewelry).

Wait wait wait.... are you telling me that Istanbul was Constantinopel, now it's Istanbul, not Constantinopel?
But I have a date in Constantinopel... -

FYI
Jack (i.e. me) has a BA in Classical Civilization, a MA in Ancient History and a MA in Greek & Latin. My specialty: ancient religion. I know ancient Greek, Latin, Italian, French, German, some Aramaic, Coptic, etc.
Basically, I'm EXTREMELY picky with mythology. Trust me on that.

Then he'd understand my finding humor in this situation:
I had recently rolled my latest hero, Lord Omicron, when my friend told me there was a mission or location called Omicron Point.
It's always been a favorite letter of mine. I guess it goes for some on the design team too. -
Great Guide, allow me to add my 2 bits:
I see alot of people using HO, what does that mean?
WOOT:
Woot has many theories surrounding it. It may or may not mean "We Own the Other Team" but it is unlikely. It is definately older than Counter-Strike. It's mostly just an exclimation like HUZZAH!
BRB != BBL:
BRB = gone a few seconds to a minute or two
BBL = gone an extended period of time
Zerg = Rush:
In all my years of (starcraft/broodwar)ing I've never heard the term zerg used as a verb. You use the word rush. A rush is a zergling rush. They're the only unit you can rush with anyway, i've tried overlord rushes and it just doesn't have the same effect. A rush is a pre-emptive attack on a small group of enemies with a much larger number of, yet not necessarily stronger, units.
