Dear Gosh - David responded incorrectly TWICE to my inquiry and when I decided to re-upload, I found my FIRST upload was there, but NOT PROCESSED. So now I re-uploaded and got the #109 error. I've sent them a response confirming the SECOND upload is there with the error. So now, it's ANOTHER wait and see. *sigh and a sob*

Dear All,

I have just completed my film at 4:30AM EST on my third all-nighter. I was so busy with real life that I couldn't even post to all the good vibes and drama on this contest with the rest of you wonderful folks.

I was actually the winner of the 2nd Annual Paragon Film Contest Live Action category many moons ago and was DYING for them to have another new contest. But the years went by and then they had this - Machinima, something I've NEVER done before.

Thanks to all of your wonderful responses and technical information, via a lot of hard work, sleepless nights and lots of planning, I was able to upload my submission - The Fall.

I hope you enjoy it and I have to give special thanks to all of you who answered my noob questions and foraged GameTrailers to get the proper information regarding our rules and submissions.

If I get the chance later on, I will post a link - I had to submit to GT with an MP4 movie, but the DivX version looked hot! I REALLY hope GT's doesn't have issue with my submission, but we will find out.

Either way, I need to get some sleep and reaquaint myself to my wife and two kids. Good luck to you all.

I have a tech question: FRAPS captures in .avi, is there a way to pull those .avi files and work them in Final Cut on Apple?

Additional general questions as a first time FRAPS user:

How to (or can you) remove -
- your toons name and title?
- NPC and other's chat balloons?
- the game tray (I know how to clear the nav and the chat)?
- any 'conning' cursor (brackets)?

Using FRAPS for the first time:

How do you 'disengage' the camera to roam free and how do you reset it?

Also, how do you 'hide' or remove ALL the navigation windows to input commands, etc. for capture?

Did they fix or change the means to record ingame video? If not, can someone relist the method in which to do so?
