Adam asked, still not turning to Tyler "this is the very reason why I'm going to be your tutor in extra training for the next few months" he turned to Tyler "I've seen what you can do. I've seen what you can stand up to. it's time to put it to action. Follow my training, and not only will you have a chance at being a member in the Freedom Phalanx, but you'll get a nice little trinket as a reward. any problems, speak to Dirgente, not me"

"simple, I tell you" Adam started, not turning to face Tyler or the note several milimetres from his face "Have you heard of a super hero named Acenra? He worked in Legend City for the past four years"

"wow, you're sharp to know I was holding them... either that or Dirgente put my name on yours and didn't on the others... anyway. yes I am. My real name is Adam Hastoria, my ex-hero name is Acenra. I was a hero since I was twelve, so Dirgente assigned me as an extra tutor" Adam explained. he finished his burger by this time

"well, I would talk to Dirgente about your shield problems" Adam suggested "I'm not one to deal with shields... yet.I'll look into them. anyway, must go. have fun bubble-boy" he left, heading in no general direction. on his way, he past another boy reading the notice board and decided to do the same

"What are you reading?" he asked

after recieving his burger, he noticed his advice didn't work

'yeah, I'm gonna be a great teacher...' he thought

"Still stuck? Hmm, well, before you complain that it's impossible, just remmember that the only thing that is impossible is slamming a revolving door. I mean, you must of been able to get out of this before, right?" he asked, a mouth full of cheeseburger

"Riiiiiiight" Adam stoped and turned back "and I'm the king of Paragon" his sarcasm was a gift he picked up when he was twelve, and he enjoyed it "Have you tried using a similar method from how you put it on? You know. if you thought of it and it came up, then try thinking of it going away to make it go away. like a mirror effect. have a go at that while I grab myself a cheeseburger, I need to eat" he turned and walked away to get some food

he stared down with a grin on his face

"yeah, your stuck" he replied "But if you are that concerned about being clean, I guess you wont need my help" he turned an walked away, hoping his reverse pscycology worked

After getting beaten ten times in pool, and heading back to his dorm to get another pair of shades that would cover his odd looking eyes, Adam wondered what would be for lunch. He headed over to the Cafeteria

"I wonder if anybody would ver think of seeing an elf in modern day clothes... wearing shades" he mutters. Later Adam came across a mirror. The jeans, the T-shirt and the shades looked ok, it was just the ears that made everything look a little out of place

"yep, I look like an idiot" he muttered. Upon entering the crowded room, he couldn't help but notice a boy trapped in a bubble, and being virtually ignored by the other students, if not laughed at. he walked over and tapped the outside to get attention

"You ok in there? You seem a bit... stuck"

Curse my age! and I live right next to bristol I'm so close yet so far... if it comes back when I'm 18, I'll come along. but until then, have fun

"uh..." Adam started. the boy had a label that showed the name 'Jakku' on the sleeve of his shirt "Sure, I'll be your friend. I'm going to the rec room for the rest of the day. I have a letter for you. I think it's an initiation letter. I had one, it should tell you to do something like see Mr Dirgente for a lesson schedule and maybe an introduction tomost of the lessons. It's not likley that I'll be your guide, the only rooms here I know are the music room, rec room, temple and library. I just arrived today too. anyway, I'll see you some other time" before he left, he had an idea "say... why dont you join me and a few other students in some alternative training I'll been doing. it'll get you well adjusted to the school. you'll be with a few others, so you can gain a few new friends. Just meet me and the others outside the NRVS training room tommorrow at the start of the period after lunch. I'll see you later. Speak to Dirgente for more details" he said, just before continuing down the hall to the rec room

"Not much, but they'll do. I've seen what Tyler can do, but I want to see those fires in action" he said to himself, as he slipped the letters under each door and returned to his own dorm. His real lessons start tommorrow due to his late arrival. he noticed he had a letter too. before he got into his room, he opened it and read it

Here's the plan; you'll teach the students some basics in what you've learnt until you feel that all of them have achieved the skill they need. These are some of my more... achievible students. Tae good care of Myrytl too. you can enlist a few more students if you wish, but keep the grand total under ten.

I hope you are well. I heard that you got accepted into Paragon High. I've gone into training with a group called the Wyvern which is led by Manticore. I bumped into Shadow today aswell. He says that the battle nears. I wish you luck and want you to know that you have the full support of the Wyvern behind you.

Adam smiled. his brother went into hiding after... the incident but has always watched over and cared for his litle brother. He place the ltter back on his bed then took a file from his case named "Criminal records and News clippings" he flicked through it. Each name acompanied with the details of each villain. Three names brought back a few memories; Dr. RapidFire: Mastermind and creator of large robotic armies. Jimmy the Bone: Gangster and controller of fire. Those were only two names. but the third was the worst of them all. Arnneca: controller of lihtning and Adam's second doppleganger. it was wierd to think that Shadow would take he form of Adam in his twenties or so. But Arneca was the same age, wore the same costume etc. the only defining feature was that Arneca was a girl and Adam was a boy. Her real name was Alice July Hastoria and she had the oposite ideals to Adam. she wanted to be in control of everything, and when she met Adam, it was the most climatic battle ever. Adam always shuddered the fact that he had two oposites. forgetting this, he turned the page and saw the name 'The Botanist'. Adam once saved Legend city from becoming a dangerous jungle. Botanist made him relive a repressed memory, and Adam was filled with so much rage after that, he killed the plant controlling villain. he snapped the folder shut and left it on the bed. he then decided to head to the rec room and play some pool. When he left, he didn't realise his door was open and the records still led on the bed...

Sorry, I do alot of fiction on other sites. An A/N is an Author's Note. it allows the author to drop in footnotes and other info wherever possible.

Acenra blew up the last Clockwork minion and the room went back to normal. Mr Dirgente walked in clapping his hands

"Well done. That was one of the fastest times on the board" he explained

"who's first?" Adam dare himself to ask that question

"Tyler. It's one of the reasons I elected him head boy. But I noticed that you didn't use your powers most of the time, why is that?"

"I was trained to use some solutions in combat that dont require my powers. In case I lose them somehow"

"really? That would be a good idea. Someone nulified the whole city once, it would off been good if we knew how to deal with it." Mr Dirgente stated "listen, I want you to do a favour for me. I want you to take a few students and teach them what you know"

"is this because I operated in Legend City or because of today's practice?" Adam asked

"A little of A and a little of B"

"Ah, right. one last question" the elf started just before leaving "you know about the battle between me and Shadow in the temple today right?"

"Yes... why?"

"why didn't you or any of the other teachers help me and Tyler out?"

"I would of if someone didn't take my pagger..." Mr Dirgente trailed off for a second

"so you didn't until..."

"until I read your mind five minutes ago" he continued "by the way, why did you need to take a driving test if you can fly?"

"he wont hurt anyone until the great battle soon. He lies when he states that I am the only one who can hurt him. he has three weaknesses. Light, Fire, and Lightning. those are the only things he can't control, and has had a hard time defending against. His skill with his own magic is great, and that's why it is hard to get a hit in" the alarm on his watch went off "unfortunatley, I have an NRVS test. I might need to go to the main reception for a new beeper afterwards. anyway, I'll see you another time" he lifted off the ground and flew down the corridor...

"yes, it feels so scary. such a thing can make me feel on edge. I haven't felt this nerve stricken since the first time my old band went on stage for the first time" he replied "I am occasionally invited to royal balls and the such. Terortheus is an amazing place. it was a country here on earth but it disappeared after the war of the elements, to be safe from further harm. It was then replaced by Atlantis, which evidently sunk some years ago" he looked at his watch. it was almost the end of his free period and he knew that both him and Tyler had many things to do...

"I was born into it. As Shadow said, my ancestor was Shaventos, he was a g..." he stopped for a second, before deciding not to tell tyler the whole truth "great Arch-mage. He was an Airvertian. And Airvertians are kind of like angels, they have the wings and everything, but they are great magisters aswell. they use such great magics they have their own rank. the power they use can be used regularlly by them, but it is so tiring for any other species, it must be used cautiously if you are not one of them." Adam explained "for this reason, they have also been trained to use techniques in combat and medication with out their spells, incase they loose that touch they have with their magic. As I am Half Airvertian, I have been trained this way too" he never told anyone his heritage, but he decided to tell Tyler because he showed an interest in it

"I am not a sole power user, i have the ability of flight too. and if you're wondering, no, I dont use a pair of wings for that" he turned to the door and opened it "I see you're into the occult aswell"
