Guys, I got thinking, and around Decemberish on this thread, there may be an event requiring Adam's leave from school too. but that's a while yet so I'm still here till then ))

"hmm, ok. I'll make our next test a little more exciting" Adam started "anyway. the key to Airvertian jitsu is visualisation. so to use most of the techniques, you have to visualise it actually working. so, if I were to kick this tsoo warrior normaly, he would stay pretty much where he is" after making a tsoo warrior appear, he did a normal round house kick. and, as predicted, he didn't do much flying "however, if I were to visualise him flying into that wall over there" he pointed to the far wall. he then closed his eyes under his mask and concentrated, before delivering the same kick which, this time, sent the warrior flying into the far wall

"now, I am going to give you all an enemy which has the best chance at defeating you. you must use the techniques I mentioned to knock them into that pit over there" after clicking his fingers, each of the student's worst enemies appeared before them and a pit opened by the far wall

"and, begin"

after dealing with the tsoo, Adam came to the final stretch. the test of choice. at the end of the sorridor, he spied the button he needed to press to win. just before he got to it, a barricade came down. on the barricade were five helmets

"the man who made the helmet is the one who taught the other man that made the other helmets, choose wisely for the helmet of virtue is the one which was made first"

"I've done this before. it is the one which looks out of place. Virtue is not glamor, it is power!" he grabbed the rusty one and placed it on his head. no screaming, nothing. it was right. tha barricade lifted and the button showed. Adam casually walked towards the button and pressed it. in a flash the entire area changed back to normal

"the reason why I did this was not to show off but to test you on what your abilities are already and how they can be improved,so i apologise for the bragging. now, I'm going to train all of you in Airvertian Jitsu. so get ready"

I'm here,and still not lvl 50 yet

As Adam pressed his foot on the word 'Coffin' the spikes in the pit below shifted to one side. he smiled as he did a graceful back flip off the rope and dived through the pit. he closed his eyes and he concentrated hard. this next test was that of fear. he blocked out all the monsters, ghosts and even his memories as he fell. he flipped up right again before landing on the floor below. he noticed that he was surrounded by tsoo warriors. a test of strength

"Take your time Adam, you're winning" he whispered, before taking a defensive pose. he thanked the lord he past the test of fear, anybody who didn't pass would be in a state of mental break down for the next half hour... it happened to him before. this was the same test on trial mountain, and he was impressed by the abbilities of his new students...

"who's stopping? watch this!"

he dived and did a handstand, alowing the blade to swing just inches from the tip of his nose. he continued doing flips and spins, narrowly dodging the blades that swung from side to side.

As he landed on the other side, he wondered how Tyler would fre in the next test. he past through the next door and surveyed the next room. a question hung above a pit, above which hung a rope and on the walls were several answers. the question was "the maker doesn't need it, the buyer doesn't use it, and the user doesn't know he/she is using it, what is it?" Adam knew the answer. and he spied it on the wall. taking a large run up, he jumped and grabbed the rope. he climbed higher then started to swing towards the word 'Coffin'

"well thats good. but still..." he finished off the last block "you'll need to hurry" Adam rushed into the door but stopped. surveying the corridor, he noticed several oppenings. Adam thought to himself

'a timming test, lets rock!'

Adam grinned, his arm went into a frenzy before he pushed it forward. in his mind, the ice blew away leaving the outside, like a glass casing. he stood and turned to his rival

"this is why I'm a black belt" he turned and flicked the first block, which shattered "i'll see you at the end" he progressed and started to kick and smash the other blocks

"come one Tyler! you can do it!" Sophie cheered, she felt Tyler could use some support for whatever happened today

"good point, Pious, quit the illusion, I have a class to teach" Adam replied, after getting rid of the fiddle "now then. the first thing you guys must know is how to defend yourself without anypowers. Tyler, would you step over here please" Adam clicked his fingers and behind him, blocks of ice, bigger than him, formed in lines infront of two doors "the challenge is to make a path through the ice then take on any challenge in those rooms. the rule is no powers are to be used. and to be sure" he clapped his hands and the room shuddered (like when you degaus a computer screen) "all powers in this room have been nulified. Ready? go!" Adam took his fighting pose and his hand started shaking violently.

"ok, come in" Adam said. the door opened to reaveal Adam standing in the middle of the room. he watched as the students entered the room
"hold it!" he told his students. he looked directly at his 'doppelganger' "think you can fool me? right then. my powers consist of light, flight and the ability to play great music. and my magic forbids the copy of them" he clicked his fingers and a fiddle appeared in his hands "play it" he threw the fiddle to the copy and expected him to be rubbish

"why? come on, you can tell me" Sophie attempted this, and even expected failure in recieving an answer

"oh dear..." Adam whispered. Tyler's power was rising and wasnt sure whether he should hold the lesson or not. but then decided to go on with it, maybe it could cull that power he sensed.

"Tyler, you ok hun?" asked Sophie, noticing the sore eyes of the head boy, and naturally becomming worried

Adam looked at the screen which showed three of the students outside, just a couple more and he could get started

"I dunno, I know Tyler is commin, but that's it" Sophie explained "I'm Sophie by the way"

Adam finished his battle and looked in the reflection of a window. his costume was a smooth, blue spandex shirt with yellow bolts of chaotic lightning on the arms. A northen star insignia was imprinted on the chest. His trousers were white with flames on the legs. His eyes were covered by a Robin-like mask

"to go back to the good old days... if only"

Sophie leaned against the wall outside the NRVS room, and waited for the others to arrive...

Adam was bored of waiting. a quick skirmish with the hellions would cure his thirst. he set up a three minute battle so he would wait for the others

((gonna wait until a nice selection of people arrive, so i'm waiting for... Pious, Jack, Myrytl and Tyler. I'm not sure where Natoe is at the mo.))

"Why, you sure are the gentleman type" Sophie replied, staring at the rose of flame, then freezing it so she could carry it "yet, I preffer guys who dont flaunt their power. I have to go get a schedule before our next lesson" she started jogging out, but before she left, she did a slight turn and gave Tyler a wink, then ran down the hall to the office

With his costume on, Adam meditated in mid air in the NRVS room. Ten minutes to go before he give his lesson. And his plan had recently been formulated. This'll teach those cocky students to challenge Acenra

"yeah, they sound cool, I heard Adam is an ex-cape" Sophie stated. she tapped the toe of her shoe behind her for a while.

Adam meanwhile, read a book while listening to the many complaints of the other students in the other rooms who had the great misfortune of gaining fire places

"I love being me... most of the time"

"ish, I arrived the other day, I come from Wisconsin. mom made me take a cab istead of flying here" Sophie explained "my twin sister didn't come here, we couldn't afford it, so she's gettin' her training from my dad"

Sophie thought that Tyler was quite handsom, but it was only the first day, so she kept the admirations and flirting until a few months later...

Adam was on the floor of the dorms, being thankful that he picked a chimneyless room. he went to the closet where he kept his costume and put it on his bed, getting it ready for his lesson in the next half hour. He also thought of an in-genius opening challenge for his new students, which should prove his abbilities.

"wait- huh? what?" Adam was incredebly embarassed, so much so his face was the same shade as his shirt

"you must be Tyler" Sophie said

"well, you guys look like you've gotten off pretty well, Sophie, do you know our dorm number?" Adam asked hurridly

"sure, it's #228" Sophie answered

"Great, i need to go there now, have fun! Tyler this is Sophie, make sure you're in my lessons after lunch, see ya, bye!" Adam bolted out the temple and to the dorms to save anymore embarrasment

"so... uh..." Sophie started "you're head boy?"

"who are you praying to?" asked a voice from behind Adam

"it's not important" Adam dismissed, stopping his praying. he stood and turned to see who he was talking to. It was a girl, same age as him, with long black hair. she wore a T-shirt, a pair of jeans and sandals on her feet

"Are you Adam Hastoria?" she asked

"yes, and who might you be?" Adam asked back

"I'm Sophie Vernadi, I'm gonna be your new room mate. I was also put in your special class... and your year aswell" Sophie explained

"Mr. Isidor's test?" Adam asked

"yeah, aced it" Sophie answered

"well, I'll show you to the dorm and I'll give you a tour of the school if you want" Adam suggested

"that would be, cool" Sophie seemed a bit shy, but it was a new school so, hey, it was normal behaviour. they walked towards the dorms, talking about their time here so far...

Adam had gone to the gym, all there was with him was a very large block of ice(think the size of your fridge/freezer). His training had given him a black belt in Airvertian Jitsu, and he learnt how to do things like this...

he stood in a fighting pose, his right arm drawn back for a punch. it was shaking and jittering like crazy as Adam was focusing on the block. then, he thrust his arm forward, his hand with his palm held high, as if to push something. he didn't hit the block. after standing like this for another five seconds, before walking towards the block of ice and shattering it with a quick flick of his finger. He then took a mop and bucket and mopped the floor to clear the slush he had just recently made

"I know they're bragging, but they've never been to hell and back again. Oh, they're in for a treat" he muttered to himself, smiling evilly.

after his 'fun' he headed back to the temple to do some praying...

"I'm sure you will" Adam replied "Ector vinear soorvistay" he wondered if Tyler understood Ancient Airvertian. he was tortured a bit physically, he might aswell return the favour mentally

"well, this is all I can say. good luck. you'll have to prove your skill when the time comes. I don't want our new friendship going down the drain because I'm gonna be a tutor. so, lets shake hands and leave this thing until it starts tommorrow" Adam suggested, holding out a hand to shake "you never know, if you prove yourself, I may ask you to help me teach the others"

"Really? did you have to disable a robot army with no powers?" Adam asked, smilling. he walked after Tyler. he had nothing to do so maybe he could try and socialise...

"yes, but you probably wouldn't recognise me, my latest picture was when I had normal ears and red hair. my elvish looks came along after I went up trial mountain. If Jimmy the Bone, Dr. Rapidfire or Raem were here, they would back me up... before trying to kill me" Adam answered "I've still got my costume if you want further proof" grinning a little, he wondered how him being an ex-superhero would fare from that point on
