Project Blackguard WIP

Alright, so, I've decided I'll just go in order, instead of randomly picking people. I find it's a little more fair this way.

And, yes, this is the preliminary sketch of Project Blackguard. That is indeed a pistol in his hand. Not very noticeable now, however, I'll fix it up once I do the inks.

I'm sorry there hasn't been any daily art as of late. Partly due to the horrible weather we've been having, so, my powers been on and off the past few days.

However, it seems to have died down. I'll get something up by tommorow, and then we'll be able to resume on our daily schedule.

No fear. The comment was directed at no one in particular, just a blanket statement to everyone.

And I understand how you feel. I too would want to see some advancement, however... I want to keep this hush hush. At least, only for a little while longer.

I hope I won't have to repeat this every few days, but, yes. I'm still working on it. But, it's not quite my top priority right now, as unfortunate as that may sound.

I will finish it, no worries.

All on the tablet, yep. I would scan my own penciled drawings, and ink them (Since I find I'm better with a pencil.), but my scanner is currently broken, and it's quite possible I won't get a new one for some time.

Anyways... Sorry I'm late. Another busy day. However... I managed to finish the inks for Dark Kerse... And here they are.

Well, unfortunately, I've had quite a busy day today. So... I haven't managed to finish my first piece.

So far, we have the preliminary sketch, and the start of the inks. Doesn't look like much yet. But, of course, it's no where near being done.

EDIT: Dark_Kerse, I forgot the sword. No fear though, I'll squeeze it into the final draft.

So, I figure if I'm going to be posting art everyday, I might as well keep it contained within one thread.

However, in order to make some art, I'm going to need some inspiration.

Post your character, maybe add a few details about the character (Origins, powers... etc.), and then tell me how you want the picture.

Every day, I'll pick one person*, and draw them. Simple as that.

*Meaning, there won't be a que. I'll randomly pick.

Alright, so... Another piece for the day. This time, Samantha Marain. I'm happy with how this turned out. Particularly, the colors. I decided to try something new, and it worked.

I haven't much to say. Partly because I'm totally itching to get back to the Double Exp weekend.

Of course, I had to make sure her costume was ripped, otherwise, it just wouldn't be an Invicibelle piece.

Remember how I asked you guys to post something to inspire me in my other thread? Yep. I'm looking for some more toons to draw. I'm trying to do a character a day.

Yes, Pawnn, I am still working on the picture.

So, as most of you have already seen, I did a piece for Thors Assassin a few days ago.

Last night, I felt like redoing that piece, and so I did. I added a more dynamic pose, made some cleaner lines, and made sure to keep the color inside of those lines.

And I ended up with this.

I know, I know. Not much different from my earlier WIP. I had thought about adding a background, but decided against it. I've never been all that great at doing backgrounds.

Anyways, enjoy.

Also, I'm looking for a little inspiration. I need something new to draw. So, post your character if you like. No guarantees you'll be chosen though.

Alright, so, I've been working on this for a few hours now. It's not quite done yet, however, I'm liking it so far.

That would be my fault, actually. I draw with my tablet at an angle.... Not too sure why. But, yeah, it causes things to go out of wack sometimes.

Anyways, I was so happy with how this piece turned out, that I've decided to redo it. But, make it better. This first initial piece took me about an hour and half. I feel that if I took my time, and worked on it longer, it could turn out much better.

And plus, TA is quite a fun character to draw.

One more.

I'm not liking the right hand... But, too late now. Otherwise, I like how it turned out.

The background. I don't much like it. I'm not much of a background kind of guy though.

HOWEVER, without the background, it looked funky.

Maybe I'm just being pessimistic.

So... My scanner is still shot, and I felt like drawing. So, I did two tablet doodles tonight.

first one: I'm not sure what it is really.
And: Oh noes. A transformer (That I totally made up.)

So yeah, nothing special. But I felt I should share these.

No, I'm not drawing anyone right now. At least, not until I get a new scanner.

I suppose I owe you guys an update...

It's still coming along. However, I've been rather busy as of late, so I haven't had much time to get much in. I try to finish at least one character a day. Usually more though.

Then I might ink and color it. That'll take some time too though.

Hopefully, I'll have it done by around early-mid febuary.

Hmm... I actually like this idea as well.

Would add a bit more customization options for our characters.
Yeah... I wouldn't mind seeing something like this actually make it into the game.
