Some people, myself included, use flash sites to prevent bandwidth theft...I had a lot of people hotlinking my images before I started using a Flash website. But then, my stuff's not safe for work anyway.

Br0k3n was summoned from another dimension to animate an organic computer designed by genious technomancer, Dr. Valentine Montgomery. She was intended as a bodyguard and plaything of the rich and famous.

Another of Montgomery's creations attacked and killed him before br0k3n's spirit was melded with her new body, leaving her shattered, weakened. She had never been given a name by her creator, and took as hers the first thing that was said to her..."You sure are broken, aren't you?"

She was turned over to the anthromorph-heavy Kit Kat Klub in King's Row, where she met Juke Joint Jezebel, one of Montgomery's early works. J took br0k3n under her wing, so to speak, and the pair prowl Paragon City fighting villains...when they're not busy dancing the night away on stage.

Price range for commissions vary widely depending on the artist and what you want done (simple sketch, inked, color, with background, etc) Some artists here have prices on their websites or DevArt sites. If you see an artist whose style you like, best thing to do is PM them and ask for prices.

I haven't done a lot of chibi art lately, but after doing a few for commissions, I decided to try my hand at one for me and Wyld's toons. This is the result:

I personally draw everything in pencil, and ink/color digitally. I use Photoshop and a Wacom Graphire tablet for the digital portion. You can get a tablet for under $100 (for a small one...but it's better to start small and make sure you like it before investing a lot into it)

Photoshop? More expensive. GIMP is freeware that does many of the same things, AFAIK...I've never used it so I can't tell you for certain.

br0k3n would...dance on the tables. She is a stripper, after all, and has no concept of appropriate behavior in other settings. Unless her partner-in-crime(fighting) was there.

Of course, Juke Joint Jezebel would probably do some table dancing herself.

There are tons of sites that have free stuff for Poser. The ones I like are Renderosity and Renderotica. Yes, they do have paid sections, but they also have really decent tutorials and sections of freebies available for download. Either of those sites will no doubt link you to dozens more decent sites.
