I'll be interested to see what the 'end game' content coming soon is, namely things like the 'Universal slots' and little things mentioned before.
Some sort of Signature Power choice would be really cool, if it could be balanced, though.
I mean, I know I never get sick of watching Imperious blow up whole mobs with his signature lightning move

Pssst! TV! Rumour is that the older shows are looking dated!
When is the tech going to be made to allow things like glow-edges on costumes?
We know it has to happen because, well...It's Television!

I don't get why people cannot understand this...
The Praetorian 'Clockwork' might not be ANYTHING at all to do with the Prime Earth Clockwork.
The whole reason they are even named clockwork at all (afaik) is that, in the old Praetorian stuff, Anti-matter and Neuron based their robot designs on the Clockwork Kings minions after having taken a look-see at Prime Earth. That old history is now obsolete.
The Clockwork of Prime Earth work because of the Clockwork King, and the way he is. In Praetoria he might not have had his head staved in by Blue Steel, he might not have been the way he is on Prime Earth, hells, he might not even be psychic.
The name 'Praetorian Clockwork' is, I would guess, either the name given to them by Prime Earth people (In the same way we gave Tyrant his ncik-name) or a place-holder for their actual name.
But, as ever, until we get actual redname confirmation on any of this;
We Don't Know. -
MM Customiosation is already in the pipe. It just takes more time than regular customisation due to what it involves i.e.;
Minion models, LT models, Boss model, Minion with upgrade 1, LT wit upgrade 1, boss with upgrade 1, Minion with upgrade 2, LT with upgrade 2, Boss with upgrade 2, Minion with both upgrades, LT with both upgrades, Boss with both upgrades.
Now multiply that by however many styles there might be. It's a lot of work.
I want my bots customisable as much as the next guy. But I'd also rather have it look nice and work well than be plain suck. So, patience is required. -
So long as you can get build up in your secondary, Build Up + Full Auto is so much win you wouldn't believe. Even con mobs just fall over. My AR blaster literally chews through Rikti mobs with his AoEs. Drones really hate AoEs, which means I love 'em ^^

Quote:I'm pretty sure that, looking at the Other Game, it doesn't have anything the likes of BaBs, Castle and the Paragon Programmers aren't perfectly capable of doing by themselves. Without any flaws included by 'Him'Honestly, devs, if you want to just kinda steal whatever you can use from The Other Superhero MMO's character creator, I live near their building. Something could be... arranged.

Quote:Given the trend of characters at least being the same person (Tyrant is still Marcus Cole, Marauder is still Michael White, etc etc) I would think that highly unlikely.As I said in another thread, I've never seen anything that said Anti-Matter is Raymond Keyes. As far as I know, he's just the Preatorian version of Positron, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are the same person from two different dimensions.
My personal (and completely baseless) theory is that Raymond Keyes will turn out to be the Preatorian Clockwork King, while Anti-Matter is someone else (possibly Ernesto Rodriguez AKA Black Scorpion on Primal Earth).
The 'Clockwork' of Praetoria are not like the The Clockwork Kings servants.
SPOILERS!
The Clockwork Kings 'minions' are all simply puppets, animated by his incredible psychic powers. This is the reason for mission with the Psychic Clockwork, where his control over them is powerful enough he can attack through them (and why, when he gets mad in the LGTF, they all become psychic attackers rather than standard)
/Spoilers
The 'Clockwork' of Praetoria are robots, A.I. (as far as we know) that were simply designed by Keyes. That doesn't stop him from being Anti-Matter. There might not even BE a 'Clockwork King' in Praetoria.

I was hoping this was a suggestion to fix the 'Check Name' button in character creator, which has been broken since inclusion. Sadly.

Quote:Ah-HA! /EvilmonkeypointI commend you on the deletions. I'm a "I'll stand by what I've said, but apologize if I need to" guy, so I'll let my posts stand, but I respect the retractions.
I also won't pretend that i wasn't trying to agitate you. My main purpose was to refute/discredit your position, but... well... I ain't above a lil' agitaitin'.
Also, I have no idea how to turn off rep, or I would have done it a while ago. It's rather silly.
But yes, I'm totally with you on the idea of having some form of resistance armor made available to players. More importantly (to me) I want costume pieces with glowy bits in general. I don't care who we have to poke (though not in the biblical sense... I have some morals) to get it done.
So peace, yes?
But yeah, peace
We need to poke the tech guys. The problem (So I've heard) is the glows are baked into the armour itself. As in, you cannot (currently) colour them.
So, we could colour the armour and add patterns. But the glows would always be, say, blue. -
Quote:I have a suggestion, but it might not gell so well with tired.(I only say this halfheartedly as my husband and self, decided while waiting for GR that we would completely remodel our master bedroom. So I am tired and cranky, and want something to get excited about...)
Cranky, well...that depends on your tastes...

Hmm. Hadn't thought of it like that. Sounds possible.

*Cough* Someone overloaded Rage.exe...
Nothing to see, now...
Clockwork are coming >_>
*legs it* you won't catch meeee...! -
Explanation was given. I've deleted the guff I posted before. Someone seemed to have overloaded the Rage.exe folder...
Hallowed; I get what you are saying, and I admit I was in the very wrong here. However, being patronising is a surefire way to *not* sort things out. You comments might not seem offensive to you, but they were to me. Make of that what you will. And, since the disabling of comments, I've not bothered with the rep feature on the boards anymore.
Hell, I'll give you some to balance it out
Either way; NPC or PC or w/e...Resistance armour is still shiny.
So...can we poke the tech guys to give Jay the tech to make even more shinies?

Quote:I have a perfectly good, sense of humour, thanks very much. Granted it might not be the same as Jays/US humour. But thats niether here nor there.A) Please have your humor-detection circuitry examined. It's faulty.
b) Sure you would. Is that what your mommy told you? /em pat... pat... pat...
b) = plain insulting. Kindly leave my mother out of this. Just because our opinions do not meet on the level doesn't mean you have any entitlement to attack me specifically for no real reason.
No. I'm claim I could do so based on a level of professionalism when it comes to design and communication. Good communication examples are BaBs, WW, Castle... heck, any of the other Devs.Quote:Your lack of understanding does not Jay a bad dev make.
It just means you have "No idea".
And the irony of someone who claims he can do Jay's job better complaining about "his ego" is priceless.
Up until this point, I did think you were a decent poster who had a bit more grip on calm than I did at the time of posting (Mostly due to repeated dissapointments from the costume design dep in the past)
But personal attacks? Really? -
Well, wiki Black Sawn (The Praet version of Swan) and see what you get, too >_>

Sometimes when browsing, you stumble across things that make you go "Oh...I never knew that!" or suchlike. Sometimes it's things you thought you knew, or just random stuff you find interesting.
Like now, I ws browsing up on some of the Marvel characters I know little about; Captain America, Bucky, Deadpool...
Look who I stumbled upon;

Quote:Kinda off topic, but;A woman looks for many things in a man, a real man anyways.
A woman needs a friend, from the one she loves.
I have never understood why boys only think with their *&#@.
The friend zone isn't that bad.

Not all men do. Most, yes (sadly) But not all. -
Quote:^ Thisinteresting idea, i think its funny when he buffs stretch across the screen, but if you dont want that, then you could try:
- hiding auto powers (this usually cuts down the amount of icons to only applied buffs or self-ativated powers)
- and/or change the stacking of the icons to be nmbered instead of default (this will just add a little number saying how many of the buff is applied to keep things like FS down and also help shrink this down alttle bit)
I used to struggle on my empath (Im no 'He4lorz. I keep three fortitudes going at a time, as it should be.)
I mentioned this one time on a team, and someone mentioned hiding autopowers. Made my life SO much easier

Kill-stealing at low levels, now that gets me riled up.
"Hey, I just saved you!"
"No, no you just *took* a chunk out of the exp I woulda got for that ****, and now I have to go find another red-con LT to skip a few more low level bars..."
That I could agree with. It's not a major gripe (it's damn fast to skip through to 5, and thats when things get rolling) But myeah.
For this thread, however;

At first I thought that photo was actually a slight GR slip...
Then I looked closer...I mean....wierd stuff man.
However...look at the grass! That's better quality than the flat green patches we get in game atm...any liklihood of ACTUAL grass coming back for GR? Now *that* would be an announcement. -
