Did you now? I seem to recall that before I retired I lost maybe a total of 2 or 3 duels to blasters. One of them I know for sure who, which leaves maybe 1 or 2 other duels I lost.

Depends on the build, and it's not easy, but 45kb protection cah be had. Ajax's test team build is running 48 mag protection, according to him.

That is correct. my cold/sonic defender test team build has mag 48 KB protection. You can slot both steadfast and karma's in both defense shields, and artic fog. karma's in combat jump, stealth, invis, manouvers. steadfast on the epic shield. Slotted acro. My sonic/sonic defender is not far behind. I think its 44 mag on that one.

I thank you for doing that. Many of us old timer FoL members wished that name to be retired after we left a year or so ago, pretty much in the same way that we retired VR and reformed under a new name when many of the core members and leaders left.

VR name is retired, and yes...its basically the same core of players, but under new management due to Putz's, Lab and 6 retiring, plus we've added a few players that were not in VR (Vert, Divine, Siph) so the new name and identity fit.

yes...I did win the rematch. I made a couple mistakes early on the first match, and against a good player that knows how to capitalize on a mistake is very hard to come back, specially since once I died that first time, he had domination still up, and IW hasten and AM were down for me, I ran out of inspirations early due to having to compensate for that. Second time around I was a bit more prepared for the initial rush, and the results were totally different.

As for the reason the cold defenders aren't as good as the corruptors for duels....lack of the perma web nade effect makes it a bit more difficult to lock down the opponent and land the sleet. Also...no scourge means more time ticking away at the opponent. Cold defenders are good, but I wouldn't classify them with the top tier duel builds.

I'll give credit to Mez. Probably the toughest dom player I've faced. We had a lot of very good fights recently. Out of all my duel toons Mez had the hardest time fighting my storm/psi.

Nice additions. Couple more and you're in bussiness.

To all those looking for a new home....Hank is an excellent leader, and this group is only a few players short of being able to enter the ladder. We recently turned down 3 applicants because our roster is full. A couple of them are very good experienced players and it was hard to turn them down, but we felt that it was not fair to them to have them join to be sitting on the bench, when they have the skills to be starting for a new and upcoming group like this that could use them.

Best of luck to the Awesome Avengers, and I sincerely hope that a lot of those players looking for a new home would consider joining this group that has some very fine players on its roster already, and a veteran leader.

not quite.

PE is a wonderfull group of people, and we had a really good time in our short time with them. Our decision to leave had nothing to do with the heckler on AC after Sunday's match, but rather us wanting to continue playing together with old time friends, and also with the purpose of adding another group to the heroe ladder, which is something we can all agree is good.

PE still has a talented roster, and I'm confident that they will rebuild and continue to have sucess in the ladder.

I'm happy to anounce our entry into the heroe ladder. We'll soon be making our first challenge to get ranked.
