I was worried it'd come back that I was the only one who had ever done that.

Unfortunately, there always is. Granted, last night was moreso than most nights, but yeah, there's always SOMEONE(S) who tries to get us all killed.

Now, granted, the monsters aren't very far away, and I think sometimes they just kinda wander in close enough that someone catches their attention, but mostly when a monster storms the mold, its led there intentionally. Same with blasting Hami... I admit that at least twice in my carreer, while clearing mitos, I got carried away and shot at what I thought was a next-to-dead mito and accidently had targetted Hami while fast-clicking... usually followed by an instant faceplant on my part. It DOES happen... But again, unfortunately, all too often, its not really accidental.

Yeah, Phoebus used to get that a lot with Char. Even though Elec gets Tesla Cage in its Primary, many blasters, and some scrappers, too, get holds in their Ancillaries.

Yes, by all means, watch for attackers during the hold phase, but if you see something you're unsure about, ask about it instead of just rudely sniping at those of us trying to help out how we can. Notice the call goes out "All Holders into the mold," not just "All Controllers."

Sorry this is so long, but I thought long and hard about her costumes before I gave them to her. A little understanding of her story may explain the outfit.
She is a Fire/Rad Controller on the Protector Server.

This is Z'Crensh, a victim of a Rikti assault on her home dimension (a "practice run" before the invasion of Earth). She was considered a powerful spiritual leader amongst her people; having been born with an innate control over fire, she was naturally chosen to become a Priestess of her tribe's local Gods. When the Rikti arrived, she and many others put up a fight, but they were simply no match for the ferocity with which the invaders attacked. Many of her Tribemates were slain. Z'Crensh, however, was taken prisoner because of the similarities in her Fire powers, and those of some of Earth's Heroes. She was to be a specimen in a lab for their scientists to study so that they could better combat some of Earth's champions when the time came to invade.

Realizing her peril, though, she made a desperate gamble and fled through a prototype portal the Rikti were building. She later came to realize that the portal had mutated her, giving her a certain control over radioactive agents, thus granting her a completely new set of abilities.

For several weeks, possibly months, she hid in the sewer tunnels, wary of the new world, yet keenly studying it and its people, coming to understand both its languages and its cultures.

When the Rikti finally invaded, her first instinct was to run deeper underground, but then she heard the battles being waged overhead. Cautiously she began to make forays onto the surface, trying to harrass any Rikti she could so that the mightier Heroes could more easily defeat them.

When the fight was finally over, she saw the devastation and the loss of life, and was reminded of her own world where she failed to protect her people. She then swore that she would learn how best to use her abilities to protect these strangers who had come to accept her, and perhaps to one day find her way home and do what she could to rescue her own people as well...

Now remember, she comes from a primitive world where the primary lifeform is similar to a cross between a reptile and a mammal. The life cycle and reproduction of these people is very similar to our own, though they appear, on the surface, to be reptilian. Her people also do not bother with clothing since they are A) primitive and B) from a warm, arid region. Hence the lizard nudity. The one thing she is wearing, though (the mask) was given to her by the Rikti, since she was unable to breathe the air on their homeworld. She still uses it as a reminder of her failure at home and her subsequent captivity.


I'm sorry that was such a long read, I just wanted to make it clear on why I chose the look I chose.
