Requiem too easy.[/list]Looks like you were a bit paranoid on the Malaise/MM mission as you had a whole tray of "Good Lucks" . That said, it's a great achievement and I can't belittle you too much... However, if you want a real challenge... try to defeat Nosferatu. He is a nasty EB/AV for a solo melee toon, never managed to defeat him on heroic without temp pets/powers, on either a tank/scrapper. Mind you haven't tried to defeat him since the new IO sets were introduced.

Hmm. After 3 yrs playing (CoH/V) and having come across all AV/EBs I know what tatics to use to defeat them. Yes, Malaise is one of the easiest AVs that's why I chose him as the first. However as for using 'Good Lucks' most of his attacks are non positional psionic (my build has approx. 13% psionic defence) therefore his attacks will hit very frequently and do about 500 damage each hit, which means I will have to use my heals (Construction, Dull pain, Instant healing) frequently, lowering my DPS. My build just doesn't have enough DPS or global recharge at the moment to compensate.

Why Nosferatu? What about AVs such as Ghost Widow, Black Scorpion, Captain Mako, Scirocco, Lord Recluse, Dominatrix, Tyrant etc etc. I would consider them as much a challenge as Nosferatu believe me I've tried and failed.

Now, must get back to leveling my Fire/SR Brute (lvl 41) so I can have a go at some Signature Heroes.

Managed Black Swan and Requiem today.

Black Swan was fun. I got her down to half health and then she hit me with Shadow Maul and I was a gonner. Boy does that hit hard. I rezzed and continued. Then when she had a sliver of health left she hit me with her heal. She went down eventually. Will have to try her again sometime.

Requiem was very boring. He didn't hit that hard and toggled his shield on and off. So it took some time. Used medium lucks but had some large ones because I thought he would be much harder. Could probably take him without any insps when my builds finished.

Hehe. Set to invincible just for that mission.

Was doing it by Ouroboros on heroic setting. Was getting bored so just thought what the hell I'll give it ago. The Arc gives 24 merits on completion and the quickest I've done it is in 2 1/2 hours.

Gratz on soloing Chimera. I had a go at him but his lethal resistance is just to much for my Kat/regen.
I barely made a scatch on him. He was laughing at me and told me to go to hospital.

Well I did something today that I never thought I would ever be able to do and that is solo an AV on my Kat/Regen.

The AV was malaise. Medium size lucks were used in his defeat.

Just for good measure I then had a go at Mother Mayhem and she went down also.

My build isn't finished yet so I was surprised that I was able to take down both of them. Made it easier that they had no lethal resistance so I was hitting them quite hard.

Do Paper Missions. Get Mayhem mission from Broker. Enter Mayhem mission. 15 min. timer starts. Leave Mayhem mission. Start doing paper missions again. When Mayhem mission timer finishes (i.e. Mission Failed) return to broker who will give you a contact. (He gives a new contact even if you fail the Mayhem mission). Rinse and repeat until broker gives you no more contacts. At this point you can just refuse to do the Mayhem mission and then continue with paper missions.

To start off with always do the Atlas and King Row Mayhem missions to get the temp. travel powers.

In Port Oaks you can get insps. from the Arena.

I have never tried to level up like this though as the boredom would probably kill me.

Well I was in SC last having some fun PvPing with my En/Inv Brute. Not kicking some butt as usual. When "BAM" some Hero hit me with a new Temp. power called " Lost connection to Mapserver". When I manage to rejoin 30 secs later (Affects of power have worn off)I find myself in the last stages of being ganked by 3 Heroes.

My Question is: Is this Temp. Power available to Villians aswell as Heroes because it could turn the tide of a battle for us poor weak Villians?

Can anyone give me an answer please and no sarcastic remarks/comments because you'll hurt my feelings and I won't PvP ever again.
