Suggestion. Shrink them back down to their original size, then simply increase the canvas size to 80X80, then just save as normal. You won't get any pixelation and the mini will be it's original size and dimension. Just a thought for you.

I did increase the canvas size for any of the minis that were under the 80 x80 size. The issue arises when trying to shrink any minis that were over 80 x 80.

I found decreasing the size of a gif greatly effected the pixelation of the image. I found that changing the image mode to RGB, then adding a background, resizing, removing the background and then saving the image back as a gif provided the best results. However, some of the minis still had a little degradation.

I'm welcome to any other suggestions that may yield better results. Thanks for your input though

Alright...I have noticed some people using their minis as their avatars, which is awesome! However, when making the minis, I didn't take into consideration that people would be doing this. Therefore, to avoid stretching, shrinking, pixelation and other nasties, I made avatars of all the minis I have done thus far.

Well, I didn't get any of your Mini's done tonight. Instead, I thought I owed myself one. So I did a big mini of my main. My wife calls it a monster-mini. I won't be taking requests on these, just cuz they take quite a while to do. But I wanted to share with you all and see what you thought.

I hope I can get one or two done tomorrow. Being Xmas Eve/Day, it's kinda busy, but I think the night should be alright. I'll see what I can do.

Hmmm...it's not a toon that I play on a regular basis, I never really noticed before. I took the screenies when I was at a friends place. He doesn't play CoH anymore, but I wouldn't be surprised if he...altered things.

So, I'm guessing that that isn't a costume that is normally available. Is it close to what it normally looks like? I'm surprised I never noticed a difference. Can anyone post a screenie? I'm not at home right now, so I can't check.
