As long as you made them...as in they're completely original...made by you, then I'm going to go with "Yes". But they're being pretty forceful on this, as in that royalty free clips won't even work. That would also explain the VO in the sample video they provided.

In the actual legal rules: Limit one (1) entry per person per day during the Entry Period, as long as you use a different Video for each such entry.

Sadly I found out about this from David Nakayama's DA journal, but it appears that comic book artist Michael Turner passed away yesterday.

He's best known as co-creator of Witchblade and the Fathom comics. His art style is...unmistakably gorgeous. I was a big fan of both the early Witchblade and Fathom series.

A page has been torn from the comic world.

He'll be missed,

Awesome! I'm thrilled you like it man . I think I do want to tweek one thing about the footer and that is to go back and add the character names down there above the VG title, cause they're pretty dang clever and would help tie in the whole Southern theme.

I had that thought a while back and I'm not sure how it slipped my mind now.

Whew, well it was the most involved thing I've done so far, but it's finally finished. This is a piece for War Patriot's Villain group "The Confederate States of America".

The concept was War Patriot's and I hope I didn't let him down.

That'd be awesome! My fingers are crossed. I hope your trip goes well I've noticed reports of things flying around in the air in your neck of the woods.

I have you to blame for this. I had so much fun doin' Captain Corea I figured I toss out a contest for 8 since there were a few folks that showed interest in having a lego toon done.

Time for my first contest ever. I'm looking for you incredible artist types to pick up your pencil, wacom pen or weapon of choice and create the coolest image of my City of Heroes character 8 Baller.

I'm looking for a "freezing a moment in time" shot either from his issue 1 - comic or from issue 2 - (text only).

8 Baller reference images, and story pdf's can also be found here.

Judging will be done by myself (heavily), and my kids since they know 8's story well. The medium is up to you guys, I can respect a well done pencil illustration as much as a 3d render.

THE WINNER GETS a free Lego illustration of a character of their choice...most likely one of the winner's characters, but I'm open to other requests (see my gallery and the 8 Baller, Sinder, Statesman picks for samples).

The contest starts today (April 2nd) and all entries are due by May 31st. You can post a link on my DA site or email your entry to todd@toddworld.com
