  1. This was going from bad to worse. Unless he could find a way to get rid of those sentinels, Aoleleb was toast. Though he had some electric powers, he could not directly influence H'taed's sentinels.

Thinking quickly, Aoleleb opened a portal to his Pocket and pulled out his sword. Sending a electric charge down the blade, he magnetized it. He flew toward the sentinels, swinging his sword through the sentinels as he passed, disrupting their magnetic field and making the energy dissapate.

Just for good measure, Aoleleb raised three boulders out of the ground and hurled them at H'taed.

((For those who have not read the description, Voltaic Sentinels are "polarized electricity field"s. The magnet disrupted the field, and the sentinels are no more. Hooray for science! Take that Mr. "Periodic Table"!))
  2. Aoleleb was completely thrown off guard by H'taed's escape from his prison, but a good strategist always had a back-up plan. And if he didn't he thought of one quickly.

His little trick seemed to just have aggravated H'taed, and he knew he either had to get H'taed away from Nether or reveal himself. He chose the latter, just because he probably had a much better chance of surviving against H'taed than Nether did.

Dispelling the invisibility around him, Aoleleb rose into the air, arms outstretched, and hurled massive hurricane force winds at H'taed in an attempt to blow him away.
  3. Aoleleb set down lightly on the edge of the Storm Palace, willing the winds away.

"Hey Krystell, where are those Rularuu you told me about?"

    "There aren't any there?"

"Not from what I can see"

"They might be inside with the other two. Be careful."

Aoleleb willed the air around him to bend, refracting the light to make him invisible. He started off into the Storm Palace, ready for an attack. He was amazed nothing had happened after about five minutes of sneaking around. Not one alarm had gone off, not one Rularuu had been sighted...

Then he found the fight and realized why. The person who matched the description of Lord H'taed was pounding mercilessly on what seemed to be Nether Mistress, although she was slightly different than his list had described. He could tell Nether needed help, and knew exactly what to do. Staying hidden, he willed the ground around Lord H'taed to spring up and prevent further assult on Nether.

    ((Think Fossilize.))
  4. Aoleleb stepped out of his portal near the Storm Palace

"Whoops, looks like I overshot it a little. I was aiming for Firebase Zulu."

"That's alright, you're actually where you need to be."

    "Really?"

"Yeah. I suggest you read that list now. You're gonna need it."

Aoleleb opened a portal just large enough for his arm and reached into his Pocket, pulling out the list.

"From the energy signatures inside, we can tell the brute, Lord H'taed, and the scrapper, Nether Mistress, are inside. One of them has the device, but we're not sure who."

"Two on one. I don't like those odds. Assuming they're fighting over the device, who would you suggest teaming up with?"

"Although H'taed is the stronger of the two, Nether Mistress is a "Hero" in this world. Teaming up with her would ultimately help this dimension, though you would have to double-cross her eventually to get the device."

"It has to be done. Any other advice?"

    "Don't die?"

    "Thanks."

Aoleleb reached out to open a portal, but it wouldn't open. He let out a sigh and gathered the winds around him and flew toward the Storm Palace. It was gonna be a loooong day.

((I'm gonna let the fight progress a little more before I hop into it. I'd hate to have to destroy all those Rularuu, I just washed my robe. ))
  5. Aoleleb looked around, slightly disoriented, at where he was. The one problem with being a trans-dimensional peacekeeper was that he always had to go to new places he knew absolutely nothing about. The large statue in front of him was holding up what looked like a planet.

"Excuse me," He asked one of the passing civilians, "Where exactly am I?"

"You must be new," said the citizen, looking like he'd done this a million times before, "You are currently in At...You know what? I'm sick of doing this! Here, take this map."

Aoleleb thanked the man and walked on. He memorized the map instantly. Always moving from dimension to dimension, Aoleleb had a photographic memory to help him learn what he needed to blend in.

"Aoleleb," said a female voice in his mind, "Can you hear me?"

"I can hear you just fine Krystell, what is it?"

"We've got a lock on the location of the package. Do you remember that palce we told you about? The Shadow Shard?

You're kidding right? I JUST step out of my portal and you're already sending me to another dimension?

"Sorry, it can't be helped. We have some info you might want too. We've got a list of people who are also after the package.

Just send it to my Pocket, I'll grab it later."

    "Will do!"

Letting out a sigh, Aoleleb opened a new portal to the Shadow Shard and stepped through.

((Yay! My first shot at RP and I think I did pretty good. Quick description. Aoleleb is 6'3", has gray hair and blue eyes, and is commonly dressed in a black robe. He has control over the elements to some degree and can also open dimensional portals kinda like H'taed's lightning bolts. His "Pocket" is a personal pocket dimension where he can store stuff that is not needed at that moment. Krystell is one of his "Contacts" who help him by giving him information. In dialogue, Aoleleb will always be red and Krystell orange, just to eliminate some typing for me. There, that's cleared up and a new character is introduced. Proceed.))
