Character Download

Hello to everyone out there. This is one of my few posts. I regret not posting more, and that it is the end of the game that prompted me to start. I had a thought about the possiblity of being able to download a persons characters to save them from being lost. Not sure if that would be a possiblity. Maybe a zone to load them into, I know this would never replace Paragon City or being able to login and be with all the friends and people I have had the great pleasure to meet over the years. If I could save my characters from just being put into the nothingness of cyberworld when the servers are turned off in a couple of months. Please post your thoughts. I have had two of my Characters for over 7 years, I feel they are more than just bits a data. See if you agree with me, when you create a character like that, we put a bit of our soul, our personality into them. Creating back stories for them. They deserve better than to have the plug pulled and lost forever.

In addition, if you type /demorecord filename then /demostop the game will make a text file that captures your character and the zone it's in at the time. (if you play for a while between the two, it will record everything that happens other than sounds) Zoning will do a /demostop.

Later on, you can play back the demo, pause it, and "detach" the camera from your character. You can even do this after the servers shut down, if you save your game client

Not the same as being able to play, but at least you can have a souvenir...'

How do you detach the camera in the new beta version?

Also, is sound still broken in demo playback?

Finally, was there ever an option to have UI overlay in demo playback?
