Screenshot from demo?
Yep, here's what you do:
Open a command prompt, and go to C:\Program Files\NCsoft\City of Heroes (or whatever the right folder is).
Then type:
cityofheroes -demoplay FILENAME -disable2d -demofps 30 -demodump
(executable) (playback demofile) (the name of the file) (turn off the UI) (play back at 30fps) (create a folder that contains a JPG for each frame)
Let the playback run, and voila! You have an entire folder of screenshots.

Thanks!
Not exactly what I was looking for, but in many ways it's better.
I just wish I'd thought to take out the padding for time at the end of the file before doing that dump. The resulting folder ballooned in size very quickly.
For future reference, if all you're doing is standing there, open the demofile using Notepad, and search for lines near the end with SKYFILE. These are timekeeper lines. Start from the bottom and work your way up, deleting them as you go to cut down the length of the demo. Granted, if you have a bunch of NPCs and whatnot moving around, it may make things look weird, but it'll shorter the length.

Meh, I didn't take into account that this would be recording at the game's specified screen resolution. :-p My folders are like 1.5Gb-5Gb in size each! :-D Good thing you didn't set the example to 60FPS!!!
Something to note, you need to wait for the demo to run it's course fully and autoclose if you want the whole thing to be dumped. At first I thought you could simply close it right away, but then I noticed that only part of the files were there.
Well, while I may not be good with the camera and avoiding walls, I'm surely thorough in the attempt. >.<
I'm attempting to make screenshots from a demo file that contains a group shot of my alts, and after muddling through copy/pasting various demo files into the final file and posing them properly, I'm stuck trying to get the actual screenshot.
Printscreen works in the live game, but seems to have no effect during demo playback, and pasting into MSpaint results in a black capture. Reading around, I see that windows 7 users sometimes have to use the snipping tool to properly copy/paste from the clipboard, but that results in just a black capture as well.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong or what else I can try?
