Freitag was the one who handed me a Dark Matter Aura code during the Mako event post-party in Pocket D. Where the temp Titles were handed out as well due to some issues with the event. The Reds who were participating sounded really cheerful, really upbeat when they made the rounds. And this guy was no exception.
The sudden news of the game's closure had to have come from out of the blue, no warning given. And yeah... you know... It's really not a small show, or song and dance... It's not really putting a brave face involving the matter.
You have to really get out there and experience other games to really understand what communities they have. And then you come back to City of Heroes / Villains and the people that are all around you... They really are the best. You don't have to just make stuff up... Our community Is. The. Best.
And now I'm sad as all get out too. Because really, where will we go from here?
