At the age of 14 I was introduced to City of Heroes. A game that would forever influence my entire life and push me to do what I love most.
To a kid with no real direction as to what he wanted to do, City of Heroes was there. City of Heroes taught him that creativity and fun were two most important things in both the gaming world and in Life itself. He would go on to find out that his true passion was figure drawing and animation. He would go on to enroll in animation school and continue to draw his heroes and write their stories as he matured into an animator and began to write his own characters' stories just like he had for his City of Heroes Heroes and Villains.
Now this kid is 22 and just about done with animation school and he can say without a shadow of a doubt that City of Heroes was one of the largest influences on his entire life.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Paragon Studios for everything. You've influenced the lives of thousands of people and pushed me to be the animator I am today. You will always have a place in my heart.
I couldn't even get through typing this post without shedding a few tears.
