I met most of my online friends through my roommate, prior to meeting the person who would become my wife, and he was really into Planetside.
I played Planetside for about a year, and got super excited at the idea of a superhero MMO. I got into the beta and couldn't stop talking about City of Heroes. Nearly ALL of my outfit (guild/supergroup) came over to CoH and abandoned Planetside.
I've been playing CoH ever since, and only took one 5 month break after issue 16. Ultra mode brought me back and I've been loyal ever since.
Today, we get this news. Today also happens to mark the removal of the NDA for Planetside 2. Yes, I am in that beta too.
