Returning user, having an issue

I havent played in almost a year, i dl'ed the patch today and when i went it it was like my mouse was disabled. I couldnt click on anything only tab and enter were my navigation buttons. I get to the accept UA screen and i hit a road block. I tried reinstall i tried setting the res same as game(1024/768) nothing worked Anyone know of a possible fix? Cant click on anything and it makes me sad cuz i love this game
