They moved them. Veteran items are now at the far right of Room Details which means unlimited placement and you can also cherry-pick the one you want a lot of.

I just came back after a layoff. I left before "freedom". Anyway, the place personal item button is greyed out for all my characters but I know I have many reward items. I played for 5 years!
Am I missing something?
