Grant Cover and Phalanx Fighting - confused about enhancements.

Only certain parts of the powers are enhanceable: the defense from nearby allies for PF, and the defense to nearby allies for GC. The constant 3.75% defense from PF and the debuff resistance from GC are the unenhanceable parts.

Phalanx Fighting is not worth enhancing, unless you play with a regular group that literally moves in a phalanx. Grant Cover is at least slightly useful to slot, but I'd prioritize it below any other build goals.

Worth noting about Grant Cover: You only get the debuff resistance while you're actually running the power, so it is worth at least slotting it fr end reduction.

So, I noticed something while fiddling around last night... Grant Cover and Phalanx Fighting both claim they're buffs are not enhanceable... yet also accept defense enhancements.
Now all along I've just assumed (since they accept said enhancements) that the enhancements worked for them; but seeing "Ignores buffs and enhancements" on these powers has left me rather... perplexed.
What am I missing here? Is their ability to slot enhancements a bug? Or is it more complicate than the in-depth numbers view indicates.
