Well I just saw the latest viral clip for Prometheus that focuses on David, the happy-go-lucky artificial humanoid. The clip is presented as a interview where we learn more about David. Between the way he speaks and what he's talking about I was heavily reminded of the classic interview with HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
I especially loved the bit where he says, "I can carry out directives that my human counterparts might find... distressing or... unethical."
