Help with an Nrg/Kin Corr plz

So I have been playing off and on for several years, but I have just come back and decided to actually use my nrg/ kin corr. I checked out mids and decided I have abysmal skills using it. Does anyone have any advice they can offer as far as a decent build goes? I have searched and there doesn't seem to be any advice for that combo. Most /kins seem to go fire, but as I played him a lot a few years ago I am not starting over to change powers. Thanks

or soft capping sm/leth would prolly be a better idea

Thanks for the builds, I've been going over it and some of the choices seem strange to me. As I have said I suck at using mids so not sure of the numbers, but this is the first time I have seem a build that isn't really very melee slotting or even using boxing. I used to have him slotted as a typical ranged support type corr with flying. Seems the playstyle using this would be spring attack into mob blow your load so to speak and jump out before you are hammered. Anyone have a suggested build for more of a flying death from above approach lol?

yeah, i tend to throw caution to the wind, but 90% of the time you'll just be using fulcrum and Energy Torrent and Explosive Blast. Any minions you've pulled from the melee probably won't return fire because of kb mitagation. Any Lt./Boss that you pulled away from the melees will have a reduced strength return fire.

Its not safe, but you can judge how good your melees are and decide when they've got the attention of the mob.

the main "fun" of this build is having a blaster lvl nuke every 90 seconds or so.

Ive done this with kin/psi, kin/rad, and a kin/nrg. It's fun for me anyways

Thanks man. Maybe figuring in accolades and some purples can get def up a little but thats a damn good job. 1000 times better than what I got after trying to use mids lol. Will give it a try.
