Poison Trap from /Poison

I'm posting to get an idea of what the current consensus is on the new Poison Trap from the /Poison set. Is it useful? I don't have it on my Thugs/Poison now and I'm considering adding it.

Does it take procs and are there useful procs for slotting in it? Is it auto-hit or does it require accuracy slotting?

From looking at the City of Data info, it now looks like a brief Hold (mag 3), with a chance for additional Hold (also mag 3), a chance for a minor endurance drain, a recovery debuff, and minor damage (doesn't look like damage over time as far as I can see). I think the Sleep is gone from the power, which is just as well.

It's got a pretty short animation time and the interrupt is now gone.

The only useful aspect for my Thugs/Poison would seem to be the hold unless I happen to be teamed with someone who can sap. However, the hold might be worth it, especially since it should stack with Paralytic Poison for holding bosses.

I read a while back that procs in poison trap were bugged but I think those have been fixed.

It is a good power now. Not as good as Trap's Poison Trap but it's a good place to put whole bunch of procs and to provide short aoe hold. It comes out at 1s? I can't remember it now. It used to have like 4s casting time with interruption. (ugh!)


What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
